-So what is the deal with the Canadian Tire family? I mean, really? That dad is a Bob Villa wannabe peddling consumer products that
not only take away from the family, but real experiences. Yes, many of the products are helpful gadgets, such as the power generator that
you plug in at home. The problem is what they do with this technology. They pimp a tech lifestyle where when one goes camping, you bring a
TV, DVD player, laptop, etc. What kind of camping experience is that? I'm sure Bushman Rick or Birdman Brad would back me up on this!
Instead of family road trips, little Billy plays on his video game machine. Even when the generator is used in an emergancy in one commercial,
it isn't used for an emergancy at all: it is used to 'entertain' a bored neighbor with tv. What is surprising is how Bush-like these ads are for
Canadian Tire. In times of crisis, ignore what is really going on, and go back to your consumer ways of life, shop and do as your told.
We have to be continually vigilante of this Canadian Tire facist and his Red Triangle agenda.

-So the umpteenth improved version of the X-Logs is back. The old logs have been archived, and here we start again. A lot has happened
since last summer. Where to begin, where to begin. Lets start with the Black Out.

1)
The Black Out of June 2003 was for many a non-event; power was lost, no big deal. But the Black Out (BO) was soo much more. I was at work
when it happened, and at first, like many, we thought it was just the block. Soon we found out that it was all over. There was no news about what had
happened. Was it terrorists? We are living in post 9/11 era now after all. Nobody knew. It was a calm atmosphere, and people figured it would be
back soon enough. In many ways it was a surreal experience. Streetcars stuck in the streets, traffic jams, thousands wandering the streets, civilians
directing traffic. Food became a concern, as there was no power to cook, and fires were out of the question. Hot dog vendors were sold out, as
my small band wandered the immediate area. We managed to have ice cream from a truck. Returning to residence we decided to prepare for the night,
gathering candles, flashlights, perishable food, collecting water. Lightly armed, we went out into the night. It was incredible seeing the darkness of
Toronto by simply moonlight. Although the occassional siren could be heard in the distance, we later learned that people were calm. There was no
looting or rioting. People came together in strange ways. But the event was an eye-opener to so many negative things: how reliant we are as consumers
for processed foods, technology for heat/light/water etc, the wasted energy we use on ourselves. It could have been a new begining.

2)
Its been a year since Bush declared major combat over in Iraq. Since then, hundreds of American soldier's continue to be killed,
kidnapped, and many tortured. Also, hundreds of Iraq's continue to be killed, injured, or as we have seen all over recent media
reports, the systematic and ordered torture of Iraqi POW's. Oh and by the way, still no Weapons of Mass Destruction either.

3)
P.R.A.X.I.S. Industries moved onto a new Headquarters in downtown Toronto, the former Colony Hotel. Increased internet service,
cable, and considerably larger facilities. Also, new technology was aqcuired for viewing and editing film. The facility is magnificent,
but who knows how long it will be safe to remain here until we are shut down.

4)
DAMN ANGELFIRE!! DAMN THEM ALL TO HELL!!! While PI appretiates the freespace offered by Angelfire, those bastards added
another line of advertisement at the top and bottom. Can you see this page anymore. It will be a good day when PI doesn't have to financially
rely on sites like Angelfire.

5)
More to come. Keep checking for updates.
