Wow, its been a long time. To anyone who has been recently checking out the site because of the lack of official site, thanks for all the emails. I'm sure by now, if you go back far enough to know about this site, then you know that OMA is no longer. I want to thank all the boys and lisa brownlee for being a big part of my life and for all the years of introducing me to people i thought i'd never meet and introducing me to music that would forever shape the way i think and see the world. i'm sure other OMA fans can agree that they will be missed. Whats next? Jack has done some fill ins on guitar for the Utters while chip has been playing in a bluegrass band and our buddy heiko has been DJ'ing every tuesday nights in SF. Heiko and I have had some ideas for a fashion line in the works. so stay tuned for that. once again, thanks to everyone. cheers.
FEBRUARY 20:
updated this thing again. OMA have obviously released their third full length album on BYO records entitled "Rumours and Headlines". They will be embarking on a U.S. tour with the Swingin Utters and Pistol Grip. be sure to catch em this time around. they'll also be doing a stint on the Vans Warped Tour this summer. Expect big things from OMA in the not too distant future.
JUNE 23:
its been even longer! well, the boys are now on BYO for those of you who've been sleeping under a rock. I got my copy of SAMPLE THIS TOO! in the mail a few days ago. its really good. the OMA track is victoria and the insert says the new album is out OCTOBER 3rd 2003. so mark yer calanders. sample this too! is only $2.99 and it should be out on JUNE 26th. so pick that up, like it says..its the best damn 2.99 sampler around. OMA's recording their new stuff and has a new song called "SOS" on this year's warped tour comp. so pick that up too. Updated the discography section, sorta. what else, can't think of anything else, but i'll try to update this thing more often. if not, check back on the official site fer news. cheers

WOW it's been a while, sorry, i've been busy with my band for the last few months. well if you haven't already heard, the boys are working on a new album and they're looking around for labels. There's no definite label, and no definite date of release, yet. But there is an OMA interview at ROTTEN BRAIN .com with heiko and jack. There's also a new mp3 up at www.1manarmysf.com of "Empty". The recording sounds good. That's about all for now. i'll try to update the site more, but if you feel like it, check out

November 24:
The show was great last night, i took a few pictures. it was kinda hard, they're all from one angle, but they're in the pictures section. As expected, the souls brought up jack to do a Cocksparrer song. it was sick. They've got a few more dates left and are supposedly going to be on tour again in febuary or march according to chip. He also said they've been demoing and recording little by little. But the set last night was mostly brand new songs. Chip gave me the setlist so we know what the names are. I'll have that up in the pictures page too. Thanks to lisa and the boys for a great time last night.

I went to the bombs show last night and got a chance to talk to Chip. He said they should be goin on tour in August or September. He told me he is definately in the band and their recording soon and all that good stuff. Their set kicked ass and watching chip made me think of how much more he would add to the OMA songs. I gave him the adress so hopefully he check in soon and drop us a line. That's all for now.

The boys and lisa just got back from the tour today and want to thank all the fans.SEE HERE They are scheduled to play sometime in Aug. in SF and the "holidays in the sun"
festival which includes a lot of great bands such as u.s.bombs the casualties and a lot more.

I just recieved my advanced copy of "Spirit of the Streets". It is a great comp. Unfortunately, there are no new OMA songs on it. "No controlling" is their addition to what is said to be one of the greatest Street Punk Comps around. It's very good, But most of the song are off of records from bands that have already released new records. But it is a great record. Nothing to complain about. It is for sale tomorrow and I suggest you get it. I'll scan in the picture of OMA when I get the time. The webcast last night was poor quality, the picture was bad but the sound was ok. I caught most of it and I heard one new song. I didn't hear what it was called but it had a prety kick ass guitar solo. Also Greg did a great job on drums. Don't miss tonight's webcast at 7:30. I also added some of heiko's previous band info.

I added a previous bands page. The only one I know of is United Blood. I'm gonna scan the seven inches in. So far I put in the s/t seven inch. You can buy most of them at Interpunk.com Just type in United Blood. Wow the html worked. I'm new at this html stuff. Joel is the master at that. But I'm gettin it. That's about it.

Lots of changes all over the site. Someone is helping things get organized and easier to read. He put up a new updated discography which looks great check it all out.
