My Experience with OMA
My experiences with OMA started back when I was a loyal green day fan. I was the fan that checked in on their website everyday and always knew what was goin on. I started listening to green day back right before dookie. I heard about this band called one man army because of my love for bay area music. But I never looked into them because all that I knew was available to buy was a seven inch of their's. I never bought seven inches back then, too busy buying cd's. SO as the years went as a green day follower, I suddenly heard of Billie's new venture into the world of the recording industry with his own label called Adeline Records. And their first release....none other than One Man Army. This band I once heard of as just another 7 inch was now blasting through my speakers with a sound so fresh and new, a perfect sound that, until then, the only band that came close to the sound I was looking for was green day. But now I discovered this band. The band that hit it right on target. Finally that sound that I could never put my finger on, was coming out of my stereo. It was so uplifting. I loved everything about it. So they quickly grew on me and I started letting go of green day and fell into the hands of OMA. I finally really met OMA at warped tour. The first time I really got to talk to them and get to know them personally. They signed my stuff talked and put on a great show. I loved them from the first time I heard them and I know they will keep kickin ass through whatever obstacles they come by. SO that's the story. As for green day, yes I still like them and buy their records but not as much as I used to. Click below for the pictures from warped.
