Here are some spots that I worked on with Gatocrane. They involve Motion Control.
Firefighter PSA:
Here is an example of a simple effect achieved through Motion Control.
The trucks in the background are moving in slow motion, everything else is at normal speed. The Dolly Move is continuous and seamless. In the endshot, the Motion Control allowed the lights on the firetruck to be tracked, so they could be turned "on" through animation.
The "Motion Control" consisted of a straight-track, constant speed Dolly Move. The only change in speed occured in the endshot, but the deceleration occured over such a slight period of time that it's implications were negligible.
