OBIT - Col. OH paper, Morning Journal, Beaver Co. Times Frank George Lovrekovic, age 76, 2911 20th St. Ext., Beaver Falls, Pa, died Thursday, December 18, 1996, in the Medical Center Brighton Twp. following an extended illness. Born March 23, 1920 in Ambridge, Pa., he resided in the Beaver County area and was a retired welder of Crucible Steel, Midland, Pa. He had been a Staff Sergeant, 72 Air Service Squadron of the U. S. Army in 1946 and been decorated with two Bronze Service Stars. He also was a member of the Ambridge Croation Club, involved with the early Tamboritizans, and the Vets in Rochester. He was preceded in death by his parents Nicholas Stephen and Frances Lovrekovic of Ambridge and brother Joseph of Panama City, Fl. Surviving at home, Mercedes Caughey and family, his two sons, Nicholas Steven, wife Gladys of East Palestine, OH and George Frank Lovrekovic, wife Janet of Pittsburgh, PA, Grandson, Andre Michael and Grand-daughter, Rebecca Lynn Lovrekovic of Ellwood City, PA, and several nieces and nephews in FL and TN. Services will be Friday at Luttons Funeral Home, ll7 Blackhawk Road (Chippewa), Beaver Falls, PA 15010, 412-846-4500, visiting hours are 2-4 and 7-9 on Friday, services are at the funeral home Saturday morning at 10 am, by Meth. Rev. Thomas Carr. Interment will be Monday at the Beaver Falls Cemetery, in the Veterans Section. Born Jan. 22, 1922, in Pine Bank, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Shirley Madison and Goldie Myrtle Cole Roberts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Quido Francschini; a son, Larry Phillips, and two brothers, "Bud" Russel Roberts and Gene Roberts. Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, William S. and Linda Phillips, Verona, Pa.; George Frank and Janet Lovrekovic, Pittsburgh, and Nicholas Steven and Gladys Lovrekovic, East Palestine, Ohio; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Steve Gazda, Dale City, Va.; a brother, "Jr." Roberts, Georgetown; two sisters, Thelma 0. Price, Brighton Township, and Aldine "Sis" Salvati, Baden; nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
