TK - not sure where I receive this info - Lowell Kenneth Roberts was born on April 9, 1896, to Laken Woodruff and
Eliza Jane Nicholas Roberts in Greene County, Pennsylvania. Lowell married
Sarah Ethel Vanhorn on March 25, 1923. Sarah Ethel Vanhorn was born on May
20, 1902, to Wilford Timothy and Ivor Salome Stump Vanhorn. I knew Sarah
Ethel as Grandma Great, when I was a child.
Sarah Ethel and Lowell Kenneth had four children, all born at Stumptown,
West Virginia in Gilmer County:
1. Bernyce Bessie b. January 30, 1925
2. Benard Lowell b. November 20, 1926
3. Wilford Lake b. July 1929
4. Wilma Grace (Boots) b. March 11, 1930
Lowell Kenneth died July 6, 1935. Sarah Ethel died June 18, 1983. Both
are buried at Snakeroot Cemetery, Stumptown, West Virginia.
