Cletus Johnson

Cletus Johnson, 81, of Rt 1, Mill Creek, died Friday at 12:20 p.m. in the Davis Memorial Hospital.
He was born Feb 2, 1897 in Lewis County, son of the late Perry and Serilda Joshnson.
He was twice married, first to Abigale "Abbie" Johnson who preceded him in death in 1950. He later married the former Lou Tacy Snelson who is presently a patient in the Davis Memorial Hospital.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Helen McClorick of Ohio and Mrs. Thelma Brns of Michigan, three sons, Lewis "Lewie" Johnson of Elkins, Wilson Johnson of Balitmore, and Glen Johnson of Beverly; two stepsons, Floyd Snelson of Warren, Ohio and Robert Snelson of Pennsylvania, five sisters, Maggy Swiger of Moundsville, Mr. Jessie Arbogast of East Daily, Mrs. Millie "May" Hammond of Adolph, Mrs. Myrtle Kirkpatrick of Elkins, and Mrs. Pearl Arbogast of Mill Creek; two brothers William Johnson of Athens, Ohio, and Arthur Johnson of Mill Creek, 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Delmar Johnson who died in January of 1969 and four grandchildren.
Mr. Joshnson was a retired lumberman and farmer.
