I received an e-mail from Ray Bowden (who is not related) who says he has a lot of reference material pertaining to Randolph County. The information he gave me was taken from Hu Maxwell's History of Randolph County, Randolph County Census Records, Marriage Records and Cemetery Records. This information states that our Early W. Snelson could really be Wilbert E. Snelson who was listed in the 1880 Census records as the child of Thomas P. and Minerva Snelson. He (Wilbert E.) was listed as having the same birth date as our Early Snelson in Randolph County. Of all the research I have done so far, I believe that Early W. and Wilbert E. Snelson are one and the same. The info from Ray records info back to John Snelson.
Info from Wanda Snelson - Says Early W. is a nickname. His real name is Wilbert E. Snelson.
The Randolph County Cemetery Headstone Readings-Volume II, published by the Allegheny Regional Family History Society shows Earl W. There is a Diana Tacy Snelson - born: January 12, 1878; died: January 10, 1955; buried in the Mill Creek Cemetery listed in the same book. I did not find the name Ella.
