MATH
Periods 1,2 and 8 will do Percentage Problems (pp 101-102)on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, students will do the Math Packet on pages 103 and 104 and will continue with pages 105 and 106 on Thursday. Period 6 will work on the Subtraction of Remaining Fractions with a review sheet on Wednesday. There will be a fraction pretest on Thursday (page 217). Period 7 will work with measuring angles with a protractor and will work with the Geometry packet on pages 132-134 for the remainder of the week.
ENGLISH
On Monday, Part 2 of the Quotations Text will take place. Tuesday thru Thursday will be lessons and in class practice on the use of apostrophes to form singular and plural possessives with a quiz on Plural Possessive pronouns on Thursday.
SCIENCE
Periods 2 and 7 will have a test on Chapter 11 on Tuesday. Periods 1, 6 and 8 will Introduce Chapter 10 on Wednesday and Thursday.
SOCIAL STUDIES
Chapter 29 Test Monday. Christopher Columbus packet and vocabulary for the rest of the week.
READING
Read Chapter 15 of Z for Zachariah and 2 short poems due on Thursday.
