The waking moments at morning's light,
brings thoughts I cannot hide.
For each passing second strengthens
the want for you, by my side.
Lingering on throughout the day,
wishing only to have you near,
wondering when I'll see the smile,
and hear her voice upon my ear.
Too long it's been since I've seen her face,
and held her far into the night.
Receiving now only her words,
in the letters that she writes.
These simple markings don't compare,
to the wonders of her touch.
I am always wanting this,
wanting this, far to much.
But to have such feelings,
is worth all this strife,
and what I gain from this,
is the meaning of life.
Realizing you feel like the one,
for the first time that I know.
My mind and heart finally together.
Forever I'll want this to be so.
