| Focus Energy increases the chances that the using pokemon will get a Critical Hit. It provides a 1 step increase on the scale for chances of causing a Critical Hit.
This increase lasts until the pokemon is switched out normally (not via Baton Pass) or is fainted. Focus Energy will automatically fail if used by a pokemon that is already receiving the benefits from a previous use of the move. |
