Philip Baxter knows the campground in and out, as he should. He's lived there since his Dad bought Cavalry Ridge Campground when Philip was just a young boy. Serious and hardworking, Philip takes pride in his campground chores. He always has a ring of keys on his belt-loop and he uses them daily. It's his job to keep stocked the soda machines that are sprinkled throughout the campground. He uses a tiny notebook in his pocket to jot down which machines need sodas and what flavors should be stocked. On his rounds, he also keeps tabs on the campsites, making sure things are in order at each site.
Philip's biggest exasperation comes from his little brother Zach. They may be close in age, but that's as far as it goes. Philip sees Zach as irresponsible, and slightly crazy! Philip is fiercely loyal to those he cares about, and his ghost friend, Corporal Jared Scott is at the top of his friend list. That's why he may never tell his parents about the wonderful ghost that resides at Cavalry Ridge Campground!
