"Cead Mile Failte"!

Welcome to the website of the Ancient Order of Hibernians-Berks County, Pennsylvania.

Our Motto "Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity" inspire all our members to foster the ideals and perpetuate the history, traditions and cultures of the Irish people. We, the members of the A.O.H. steadfastly affirm our efforts to aid and advance, by all legitimate means, the aspirations and endeavors of the Irish people for complete and absolute independence, and to promote peace with justice and unity for all Ireland.

Our unyielding position on the issues of the sanctity of life and a United Ireland are a drawing card for Irish-Catholics across the world.

Our website contains links and articles pertaining to all things Irish, Our Catholic Faith, our native Ireland, and of course Irish History. For the history of the A.O.H. is part and parcel to the history of Ireland. A land of Saints and Scholars; War and Famine; Poets and Authors.

We therefore, dedicate our web site to keeping alive the traditions, history and culture of the Irish people. We pray for the continued intercession of St. Patrick, St. Brigid, St. Columcille, and St. Brendan, so that Ireland will continue to enjoy the peace and prosperity it so rightly deserves.

Most importantly we pray for the intercession of Our Blessed Mother, "Our Lady of Knock, Ireland's only Queen" who holds a special place in the hearts of the Irish diaspora across the world.(Click here to find out why!) We have also added a link to "Our Lady Queen of Peace House of Prayer" Achill Sound, Achill, Co. Mayo, Ireland. (see the Blessings button to the right) This site is most inspiring and worthy of a visit since it contains a message to the Irish people across the world!

To listen to the beautiful hymn "Our Lady of Knock" (Click here)please be patient while it loads. For additional information about the Apparition At Knock, visit the following link, Shrine to Our Lady of Knock located in the village of Knock, County Mayo Ireland.
