Gimmick: In the 1996 Olympic Games from Atlanta, Kurt Angle won the Gold Medal in freestyle wrestling. Since that point, he has been the top prospect in the sport. After being signed by The World Wrestling Federation in 1999, Angle's career took the world by storm. Angle's rookie season is said to be "the greatest of all-time" do to the fact he won every championship, with the exception of the Tag Team and Hardcore titles, and also took the King Of The Ring Crown. Kurt Angle seems to be at his best when the fans boo him, which he takes as a sign of respect that the fans "know he is superior." Never at a loss for words, Kurt Angle has a nitch for getting under every opponent's skin when he pleases too. In the ring, few if any are superior to Kurt Angle. Even though the fans boo Angle, they love to watch him compete in the ring. Kurt Angle was picked up by ACW in April of 2001.
