Resident Evil: Ground Zero movie information

In association with CAPCOM, Constantine Films, a German filming company is shooting the Resident Evil movie currently underway in Berlin, Germany. The film will feature Milla Jovovich (Fifth Element) as "Alice", the film’s protagonist. Co-starring alongside Jovovich will be Eric Mabius (Cruel Intentions), playing the role of a character named "Rain." The film is being backed by a $35 million dollar budget and is being directed by Paul Anderson, director of the "Mortal Combat" films. The plot of the film goes like this: An undercover chemical corporation by the name of "Umbrella" is secretly engineering a deadly virus with capabilities of mutating humans into flesh-devouring zombies. Angel and Rain, heads of a Special Ops group are then sent in to neutralize the threat and destroy the virus.
