Capcom clears exclusivity confusion
An earlier report today quoted from Capcom from their year-end financial report that hinted at the possibility of Resident Evil 4 being multiplatform. However, just recently, at the company's pre-E3 press conference, Capcom clarified the situation on Resident Evil 4 and the rest of the so-called "Capcom 5."
As it turns out, Resident Evil 4 and P.N. 03 will remain exclusive to the GameCube. That's right -- forget the quote from earlier today folks. Two other titles from the five, Killer 7 and Viewtiful Joe, are scheduled for release on Nintendo's console, but they were not labeled as actual GameCube exclusives.
Lastly, there was little mention of Dead Phoenix, but don't worry because Capcom did say that it is still in development and hasn't been cancelled. They simply had nothing new to show or tell about the game.
