Resident Evil 2 & 3 release dates

Capcom of Japan has announced that the official release date for the GameCube versions of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 is January 23 in Japan. Each game will retail for 4800 yen ($38). Unlike the original Resident Evil released for the GameCube, which featured completely reworked graphics and new areas, Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 will be almost straight ports of their PlayStation counterparts. Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 are confirmed for a Q1 2003 North American release.
