Falling diamonds
Sparkling glitter
Settle ever so gently on the cold hard ground
Outside the window they fall
Like dying stars
Dying stars to the boy inside
Who’s hope is dying as he stands crying
Love’s thorny grasp has crushed his heart once again
When one looks into his eyes, one can see the glimpse of a timid little child hiding in the corner
She told him that she did indeed love him
But he cannot love her
They are yet too young and his heart too scared
To ever love one again
Dying stars
Settle ever so gently on the cold hard ground
