It took me 1 year and 8 months since I said I would do the FAQ myself to actually get around to doing it, but here it is! The method I used to break down the emails into questions and answers was a cosmetic surgery procedure; I took something very misshapen, crude, and ugly, cut away what was extraneous, kept what was important, and hopefully got it all right. To the best of my ability, I've credited each question and answer to those who posted them, and attempted to keep incorrect answers and speculation out of the final cut.
Now that the FAQ is laid out before you, I hope you will review it to get a sense of what is missing, and possibly what is wrong, and then fill in those blanks and correct those errors to make the FAQ a complete entity.
