Part 6: Solo's Riddle

	Jaina sat quietly in the pilot’s seat trying to size up the situation. Someone on the 
ship was putting not only her but everyone else in danger. She ran through everything that 
she knew, 'Zekk said he only wanted Delia and Davin with me, so for the obvious reasons it 
can't be them. That leaves me with Trent, Zen, Seth, and Jamie.' She sighed and bit her lower 
lip. "This isn't going to be easy. I have to find out who Gennavive's contact is 
before he talks to her again. Unfortunately I can't narrow the list down any further.  
Seth keeps an eye on me like a hawk, but won't leave me alone long enough to contact 
the Night Sister, on the other hand Jamie was always missing, but if he was the 
informant he wasn't keeping a very good eye  his "bounty". Trent was just there 
usually in the same category as Seth.
	Jaina slumped back in her seat. "Then there is Zen. He's bombastic. Very 
frickle though. When he's not clinging on to someone he keeps his distance, but 
he fumbles around to much. I need help."
	She shut her eyes and tried to call her brother through the Force.

	Seth stood in the door way watching Jaina closely. "What is she doing?" He 
watched as her breathing pattern changed. She looked so screen. The movement of her 
eyes were  a rapid, trance like motion.
	A calmness filled the room that induced a soporific state.
	"How can we know so much about a person, and yet know nothing about them 
at all? Who are you Jaina?"

	"The Force...that's it the Force!" Jaina suddenly remembered. "When I 
tried to read their minds before someone was using the Force to keep me from separating 
their thoughts. It was probley the same person that is after me."

	Trent ran past Seth. "Jaina! The tank broke again. We're loosing fuel fast!"
	"We can't fix it here. We'll have to land."
	"But where?" Trent asked.
	Jaina pulled up a map of the nearby systems. "We can go here."
	"Cloud city? Can we land there?"
	"Of course," Jaina brought the ship into orbit around the city. Security 
contacted them immeaditly. "Identify yourself."
	"This is the Lightning Rod. I'm sending you my access codes." Moments later 
they were instructed to land at Docking Bay 19.

	Boba Fett sat in his ship. He had been tracking the Lightning Rod for 
a while. Now it seemed that the ship had dropped out of hyperspace near Bespin. 
"If that's where Solo's going, that's where I'm going."

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

	Jaina walked into Zekk's "bedroom" on the ship and looked around for 
anything that would give away her being their. On the far side of the room her torn 
bloody flight suit laid on the floor. She picked it up and turned around. 
"Zen!? What do you want?"
	"I came to see how you were doing."
	Jaina was a little suprised to see a genuine look of concern on his 
face. "I'm fine."
	"What are you doing?" he asked adverting his eyes to her suit.
	"I'm getting rid of it. There's no since of keeping this thing."
	"Oh."
	Jaina scanned his mind. She found no thoughts of betrayal and no hints 
that he was force sensitive.
	"So are you going to help with the repairs?" 
	He looked down at his feet. "I'm not very good with tools."
	"Don't worry. Jacen, isn't very good with mechanics either."
	"Jacen. Who's that?"
	"Sorry, I keep forgetting that you don't know my family or friends. Jacen 
is my brother, my twin brother."
	"Oh."
	"We can find something for you to do. I know, you can run diagnostics on the 
ships systems. See if anything else needs repairs."
	"Sure." Zen said with a smile, "anything for you beautiful."
	Jaina shook her head. "Well then what are you waiting for?" Zen walked 
out of the door almost running into Seth who was standing in the shadows.

	Outside Davin and Delia were already working on the fuel tank when Jaina 
came out.
	"Hey, kitten where are you going?"
	"Oh, I know some old space pirate here who I can get some parts from."
	She ran down the halls. She needed to get to Lando's office so she 
could send a message to her family. When she got to the end of the hall she 
peered around the corner. She could see a light coming from the office.

	Lando sat at his desk. "Sir." A droid appeared on a screen. "A ship 
that identified itself as the Lightning Rod has landed at Docking Bay 19."
	"Thanks," Lando said he turned off the screen. "I wonder what Zekk's 
doing here?"

	Jaina moved out sight. She peered back around the corner. No one was 
there. She ran to his office and went in.
	Jaina quickly scanned the room and went over to the Holonet unit. 
She punched in an access code.

	"Zekk, Zekk!" Lando said cheerfully as he walked around Lightning Rod.
	"Can I help you?" A boy asked.
	"I'm looking for Zekk."
	"For what?"
	"I'm Lando, an old friend."
	The boy smiled. "I'm Davin, This is Delia, Trent, and my brother Zen." He said as the 
three appeared behind him.
	"Is he here?"
	"No. He asked us to pick up a shipment from Corellia for him, but we were hit after 
we got tangled up with a Bounty Hunter and his bounty. We were thrown off course and are 
in need of repairs. Zekk told us that we could help here if we needed it."
	"If you need anything I'm..."
	"Sir," Lando was interrupted by the droid over there comlink. "Sir, we have an 
unauthorized landing at Docking Bay 109."
	"I'm right on it." He said buckling the comlink back to his belt. "I'm sorry. I 
have some business that needs to be taken care of, but if you need anything feel free." 
Lando walked away from the ship.
	Seth came up behind Delia. "Who was that?"		
	"Lando." She answered.
	"How's the repairs coming?"	
	"All we need is a fusioncutter and we're done."
	"I'll look for one." Seth said. He left the same way Lando did.

	Boba Fett walked quickly down the halls of Cloud City. He remembered how once, 
years ago he walked this same hall to collect Han Solo and now he came to collect his 
daughter, Jaina Solo. The whole situation seemed ironic, funny almost. He would have 
smiled to himself if he was capable of it. 
	Fett stopped, he could hear someone.
	"Fett!" Lando cried. "What do you want?"
	"Solo." Fett growled.
	"He's not here. I don't know where Han is."
	"Not Han Solo, Jaina Solo."
	"Jaina! What do you want her for?"
	"I followed her here."
	"If she was here don't you think I would have known about it."
	"If I find her your fate will be worse then Solo's." He turned and walked away.
	'I better find out what that was all about.' Lando though to himself.

	Jaina gained a connection on the Holonet and was waiting to be patched though 
to Yavin when she senced someone. She quickly shut off the Holonet and hide. As 
soon as she did Lando walked in the door.
	Jaina held her breath. She could see the panic on his face as he typed in his 
access code on the Holonet.

	Seth walked down the halls. They were nearly empty. He couldn't help but wonder 
about everything that happened in the last few days. Jaina showed up and turned 
there lives upside down, but Jamie was acting the weirdest of all. Always sneaking off 
and once Seth caught him trying to send a message to Yavin.
	"Yavin." That's where Jania came from." He stopped when he heard heavy, metal 
footsteps coming towards him. Something about the sound sent a chill though him. Seth 
stepped into one of the doorways and peered around the corner to see who it was. Boba 
Fett came into sight.
	Seth gasped. Fett stopped and looked around. He could hear Fett say something 
under his breath that sounded like Solo. Then walked away.
	"Solo," Seth repeated, "as in Han Solo?"

Lando stood in front of the screen and waited as Han Solo appeared. His face was 
white and bags under his eyes from lack of sleep. He could barely raise his head to 
look at his old friend. "Han! What's," Lando looked around and lowered his voice. 
"what's going on? Why is Boba Fett here looking for Jaina?"
	The expression on his face changed. "Fett's there?"
	"Yeah, he said that he followed her here on the Lightning Rod."
	"Did you see the Lightning Rod?"
	"Yeah, but Zekk's not on it. A group of kids are. Han what's going on?"
	Han quickly explained what happened and that Jaina was on the Lightning Rod. 
"You can't let her leave." Han said frantically.
	"Han. I told you, Jaina wasn't on the ship."
	"She has to be there. Don't let anyone leave Cloud City before I get there." He 
turned off the Holonet. 
	"Labot," he said into the comlink "secure off the city. Don't let any ship leave 
without me knowing and searching it for Jaina Solo."

	Jaina watched the whole conversation. She could barely restrain herself when she saw her father.
	"I have to get out of here." She looked around. Just above her was an air vent. 
Using the Force she pulled off the covering and crawled into it. It was a cramped space, 
but she squeezed her way through. She keep crawling until she came to some slights in 
the side of the crawl space. Looking through it she could see one of the corridors. She 
kicked the metal piece off and jumped down.
	"Jaina?" She turned around quickly.

	Seth starred into her eyes. Words riddled through his head "Yavin, Jedi, lightsaber, 
Luke Skywalker,  Lando, Corellian food, the New Republic, Zekk, and a  twin brother. What 
did this have to do with Han Solo?"
	Suddenly it hit him. His eyes widened, "your Jaina Solo!"
	The girl just nodded.
	"You got to get out of here."

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

	Lando ran to Docking Bay 19. "Where is she?" he demanded.
	"Where's who?" Trent asked.
	Lando grabbed him. "Don't play games with me."
	"What's going on?" Davin asked.
	"Where's Jaina Solo? I know she came with you."
	"Jaina Solo.!" Trent gasped.
	"The daughter of the Chief of State? We wouldn't get messed up with anyone like 
that." Davin cried out in protest.
	"Don't lie to me! She's in a lot of trouble Fett is here for her."
	Lando pushed Trent aside and ran into the ship. "Jaina, Jaina!" He stumbled onto 
Jamie who was sending a message. Jamie jumped back. Trent, Davin, Zen, and Delia ran 
up behind Lando. He tapped an access code into the Holonet and received a copy of the message.
	"What is it?" Delia asked.
	"You said you were traveling with another girl, right?"
	"Yeah," Zen said.
	"It was Jaina Solo and your friend here just sent the coordinates of her location 
to the person who set the bounty on her head. In hours every bounty hunter in the area 
will be here."
	"We have to find her." Zen blurted out.
	Lando laughed.
	"What's so funny?" Trent demanded.
	"Find Jaina? She's to much like her father only with Jedi abilities. When 
she doesn't want to be found you can't find her. Let's just hope that she doesn’t do 
anything to foolish."

	Gennavie looked at Yavin 4 out of the window of the Finial Glory. "Jaina Solo 
is on Cloud City."
	"Then let's go there." Jessa protested.
	"No. We need something to lure her out of hiding?"
	"Zekk?"
	"No, Jacen and Anakin Solo."

	Seth and Jaina ran down the halls. "This way," Jaina cried. "I know where 
Lando keeps a private ship."
	They came to a metal door with a security panel next to it. "How are we going 
to get in? Trent asked.
	"Stand back." Jaina ignited her lightsaber and cut the panel open. "These wires 
have to open it." She began to rewire the panel. She stood back and bit her lip. "That 
should do it." The doors slide open. "Well then, what are we waiting for?"
