Part 2: Must I go?

	"We got to find them." Jacen said back in his room. 
	"This is a fact, but it would be unwise to leave now."
	"Mistress Tenel Ka is right Master Jacen," EM-TD said. "It is 
rather dark outside, and many animals are coming out now that could..."
	"I know about the animals, but my sister is out there with '
Raynar and Lusa."
	Lowie roared "Master Lowbacca you can't mean that ." Lowie 
roared 
again. "Fine, Master Lowabacca agrees with you.  He says that we 
should go look for them, but I strongly caution against it." 
	"We Tenel Ka are you comming with us?"
	She looked at Jacen.  She could tell that he wasn't going to 
change his mind. "Yes."

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
	
	"Dengar!" Lusa said startled as she jumped up from the ground.
	"Jaina Solo you are coming with me.  Everyone stay back and 
you won't get hurt." He said pointing his blaster at the group.  
Zekk pulled out his blaster. Dengar shot at him. Zekk jumped aside 
just missing the shot.  Jainaand Raynar pulled out their lightsabers.  
Dengar turned and shot at Jaina, but it hit her lightsaber. He shot 
again this time hitting Lusa in the leg.  Raynar charged at Dengar 
with his lightsaber. Zekk shot at Dengar knocking him down, just as 
he did Dengar shot at the ceiling making it very unstable.
      "Did you kill him?" Lusa asked.
	"No I just stunned him.  Can you walk?"
	"I think so."
	"We have to get out of here before the ceiling comes down,"  
but it was to late.  The stone roof of the ancient temple began to 
fall.

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

	"Where should we go first?"  Tenel Ka asked
	"Well Raynar said something about Waterfalls earlier. I guess
that's where we should start looking."
	The three walked through the forest until they came to the 
river.  
Lowie roared. "Your quite right. Master Lowbacca believes that we 
made a 
mistake in our calculations along the way."
	"I thought he said 'we're lost'." Jacen replied.  They stood 
in the dark trying to figure out which way to go when they heard a 
low hissing. Tenel Ka and Lowie reached down for their lightsabers. 
"What is it Jacen?"
	"I don't know, but they are planing to eat us."  Just then 
one of the creatures jumped out at them. Tenel Ka sliced her 
lightsaber through it cutting off its tail and knocking it to the 
ground, as soon as it hit the tail grew back.  The creature wobbled 
around for a few minutes until it was able to fly.  Another one attacked. 
Jacen sliced off his wings.  As soon as it fell to the ground it 
started to grow wings, and flew away.  They stood back to back trying 
to figure out the wookiee was saying, they were in trouble, but before 
he could answer another creature jumped out at Lowie.  He jumped aside.  
The creature landed in the water and disolved.
	"Lead them into the water." Jacen yelled as another flew a him.  
He jumped aside and the creature plunged into the water.  Three
 attacked Tenel Ka.  She jumped aside as one flew past and hit the 
water followed by the second.  She hit the third one with the handel 
of her lightsaber.  It fell to the ground, and she kicked it into the 
water.  Two more came at Lowie, who knocked them into the water with 
his massive arm.  "I think they are gone." Tenel Ka said.
	Lowie growled.  What is it Jacen asked walking over to where 
Lowie was.  He looked down.  There was many sets of footprints.  
Tenel Ka bent down. "These are Lusa's," she said pointing at one set." 
Here's Raynar's and Jaina's. I beleive these are Dengar's, but I don't 
know who this set belongs to."
	"It's Zekk's," Jacen said with a surprised look. "Come on." 
He said heading down the path.

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

	They ran down the hall. Jaina turned and looked at Lusa's leg. 
"How does it feel?"
	"It hurts to walk," she replied.  Zekk bent down to look at it. "I 
think it's getting worse.  We have to get her back to the Academy fast."
	From down the hall they could hear footsteps. "It's Dengar!" Jaina 
whispered. "Raynar, you get Lusa back to the Academy as fast as you can. 
Zekk and I will try to lead Dengar away from you. You don't mind do you, Zekk?"
	"I was thinking the same myself. We'll meet back at the Academy."
	"But..." Raynar began.
	"Just go!" Jaina and Zekk said at the same time. Raynar and Lusa 
took off down one hall, and Zekk and Jaina took off down the other.  
Dengar came around the corner and saw Jaina and Zekk.
	"He saw us." Zekk said as he grabed Jaina's hand.
	"Good.  Now Lusa and Raynar can get out of here safely."
	"I wish knew where this hall leads."
	"Don't worry," Jaina said. "Most of these temples where built like 
mazes. Half of the tunnels take you in circles. We'll end up where we 
started. Then we just take the path Lusa and Raynar did."
	"Are you sure?"
	"Zekk, trust me."
	"You know, Jaina, someday your gonna be wrong..."
	"Look we must have went around, the hall is widening." The path 
opened up to a small room. They looked around.	
	"You pick the worst times to be wrong."
	"What can I say?" Jaina asked looking into Zekk's eyes. "It's 
a Solo thing." They looked back into the room. A dead end.

	Lusa and Raynar came to the entrance of the temple. "We are 
almost out of here. Do you think you can make it?" Raynar asked 
deeply worried about Lusa.
	"I must," she replied. They walked out of the temple. Both of them 
were suprised to see Jacen, Tenel Ka, and Lowie standing there.
	"Friend Lusa what happened?"
	"Dengar  shot me."
	"He's here?" Jacen asked with worried look on his. "Where's Jaina?"
	"She's with Zekk." Raynar aswered.
	"Lowie help Lusa back to the Academy," Jacen told his friend. 
Lowie growled a relpy. "Tenel Ka and I will be fine. We have to find Jaina 
and Zekk."

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

	Luke Skywalker stood outside the Academy looking into to the sky. 
The Falcon appeared, and in moments later landed. Han ran out of the Falcon 
and grabbed Luke by the sholders. "Did Jaina come back yet. Where's Jacen? 
Is he okay?"
	"Han, relax Jacen's fine." Luke said in his always clam voice.'How 
can he always be so passive' Han thought.
	"Han," Luke asked. "Where's Chewie? Did you you bring Leia?" Han 
looked at Luke for a moment stepping back, and realizing what Luke was 
asking him. He slapped his head "I knew I forgot something."
	"Daddy." Anakin said. Rubbing his eyes as he walked down the ramp 
of the Falcon. "Daddy where is Mommy?"
	"Anakin how did you get on the Falcon?"
	"You asked me to look at the food preperation units, and I fell 
asleep.When I woke up we were over Yavin 4."
	Han looked at his son "I forget sometimes you can almost get as 
excited as Jaina does when I ask you to help work on the Falcon. You 
where there all night by yourself?"
	Anakin shook his head. "C-3PO was there part of the night."
	"He isn't still on the Falcon?" Han asked 
	"No." A sign of relief crossed Han's face. "He wouldn't stop 
talking so I shut him down."
	"Where did you learn to do that?" Han asked. He didn't remember 
teaching Anakin how to do that.
	"From Jaina." He replied.
	Luke looked at Han. "Where did she learn to do that?" He asked 
as a slight smile crossed his face.
	Han hung his head. He remembered teaching Jaina how to do that. 
"Well where is Jacen?" Han asked trying to change the subject.
	Well," Luke said taking a deep breath. "Jacen left last night with Lowie and Tenel Ka."
	"You didn't stop them?" Han asked with an angery look on his face.
	"There was no way to stop them. Lowbacca, Raynar, and Lusa came back half a hour ago, and are now resting in the med bay."
	"Jacen and Tenel Ka are with Jaina?"
	"Well have we don't know if they ever found her."
	"So your saying my Jaina is running around the jungle by herself?"
	"What about Zekk?" Anakin asked.
	"Zekk?" Han asked looking at Anakin then at Luke then back at Anakin	"I saw his ship in the jungle before we landed."
	"Lusa and Raynar said that Zekk was with Jaina."
	"Wait," Han said looking as if he needed to sit down. "My little 
girl is not only running around the jungle, but she running around the 
running around the jungle with that scruffy-looking nerf-herder?" Han had 
to smile to himself. He remembered the last time he called Zekk that in 
front of Jaina. She said he was anything but scruffy-looking they got into 
a fight, she called Han a lascer brain, and left. Leia was always saying 
how much Jacen lookked like him, and how much Jaina acted like him. 
Sometimes a little to much, but there were times when she was just like 
her mother.
	"Zekk will take care of Jaina. He'll keep an eye on her." Luke 
said trying to comfort him.
	"That's what I'm afraid of. He better watch out of where he 
keeps his eyes or he better be able to out run me in the Falcon."
	Luke thought to himself.he better have a little talk with 
Zekk about the Lightning Rod. Especially about how fast it goes.

	The ground began to shake. "We got to get out of here." Jaina 
said.
	"We can't go back. Dengar will be here any minute."	
	They looked around the room, but there was no way out. "Wait, 
look up there." Zekk looked up to see a small opening. "It might work, 
but will we fit through it? 
	"We have to try." They began climbing up the wall using the rocks 
that were sticking out from the wall, and areas where there where holes 
in the wall. Jaina reached out with her right hand and grabed a rock. She 
began to pull herself up. The rock fell. She lost her footing. Still holding 
to the other rock with her left hand. "Zekk!" 
	"Grab my hand." He pulled Jaina up to him, just as the rock fell. 
He put his arm around Jaina holding her tightly. "Are you okay?"
	"Yes," she didn't want him to let go of her, but they had get out 
of there. Dengar ran into the room and saw the two climbing the walk 'I'm 
not going to let her get away, and I'm going to kill that boy.' He began 
his descent up the wall.
	Jaina reached the small opening. It was just big enough for her to 
pull herself out of. As she came out of the window she saw that they were 
at ground level. She turned around and grabed Zekk's hand. The ground was 
shaking now, and parts of the temple have arlready caved in.  Jaina 
pulled Zekk up as far a she could. "Come on."
	Zekk struggled to grab the window with his hand. "I'm not 
going to make it."
	"Yes you are."  Zekk was pulled down, but he still was 
griping on to the window and holding on the Jaina. Jaina leanded back 
into the widow. She saw that Dengar had his foot.  Zekk kicked widly 
at him. The rocks were falling all around them. Dengar fell.  Jaina 
tried to pull Zekk back up, but now he was just dead weight. Zekk had 
just enough strength to whisperd to Jaina, "Get out of here."
	"I'm not going to leave you."
	"You must go. Leave Yavin 4, and don't come back. Find 
somewhere safe,and don't go home."
	"What? Zekk, what are you talking about?"
	"They are after you. You aren't even safe in the New Republic. 
Don't worry about Jacen and Anakin. I'll keep an eye on them."
	"I'll never leave you."
	His hand began to slip. "Jaina do you remember the night we 
went swimming?"
	"Yes." she said. She could feel a tear running down her cheek. 
"Go there. You'll find my ship. Take it." He could barely speak now. 
"Jaina, I..." His hand slipped out of hers as he fell.	
	"NOOOOO!!! ZEKK!!" Jaina screamed.  She jumped out of the way 
just as the rest of the temple came crashing down. 
	Jaina began to choke on the dust as she moved the rocks. Out 
of the corner of her eye she saw another ship. "It's Boba Fett," 
Jaina said to herself. "He's here, too?"She turned back to moving the 
rocks. "I'm not going to let that worry me now. I got to get to Zekk."	
	A few feet away a pile of rocks began to move. 'Zekk' Jaina 
thought. Then she realized that it couldn't be him as she saw the hand 
slip out from under the pile. It was to far away from where Zekk had 
fell.

	Jacen and Tenel Ka ran out of the temple as the rocks began to 
fall.  The dove into a patch of trees and bushes to avoid the scattering 
objects. When the dust settled they stood up. Some parts of the temple were 
standing ready to fall down at any moment. "I don't see Jaina...or Zekk." 
	Jacen reached out with the Force. "She's still alive, but I can't 
tell about Zekk."

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

	Dengar pulled himself out from under the rubble, but was to badly 
injured to capture his bounty. "I'll take it from here." Jaina turned 
around and saw Boba Fett. 
	"Jaina Solo. If you are anything like your father you know the 
procedure." Jaina put her hands up in the air.
	'Great, Jaina, look what you got yourself into now.' She thought. 
She looked around. A large rock was sitting just behind Fett.   
Consitrarting on it. She lifted it off the ground a threw it him. Knocking  
him down. She truned around, and using the Force she picked up a small rock 
and hit Dangar.
	"Unfortunately," she said turning back to Fett. "I also take after my 
Mother and Uncle, well unfortunately for you that is." Jaina began to 
run throught the forest to the Lightning Rod.

	Tenel Ka and Jacen began to clear away making their way through the rubble. 
Jacen looked around "Where do we began? There is so much here."
	Tenel Ka turned around. She thought she heard something in the woods.She 
grabbed her lightsaber. There was no way that she was going to let those 
creatures try to make her dinner again. "Jacen," she said suprised. "It's Jaina."		
	Jacen turned quickly just to see Jaina disappear behind a group of 
trees. "Where is she going?" Jacen took off after his sister. Tenel Ka 
followed closely behind.

	Jaina ran through the woods until she came to the stream.  She saw 
Dengar's ship. "This is the spot. The Lightning rod must be here somewhere." She 
looked around. " Where is it?"

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
		
	Boba Fett pulled himself up and looked around. Dengar was gone, and 
so was the girl. 'Your  not getting away from me that easy, Solo,' Fett thought.
He ran into the jungle.

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

	Han, Luke, and Anakin had began to go look for the kids in the 
jungle when they heard the crash from the temple.  "It's Jaya and Jasa!" 
Anakin cried as he ran toward the noise.  They came to the ruins of the 
temple. 
	"What happened here? Han asked looking around.
	"Your kids I would say." Luke answered.  
	Anakin began to walk through the rubble.  He came to one pile 
of rocks. "Dad, Uncle Luke come here!"	
	Han and Luke ran over ot Anakin. They heard someone groan. 
They began to move away the rocks. "Zekk!" Anakin cried.
	"We better get him back to Academy." Han said was he picked 
up Zekk.
	Zekk's eyes opened a little as he tried to more his lips.
	"What are you trying to say, kid?" Han asked.
	"Jaina. Jaina?" Zekk whispered. "Jaina Solo."
	"No, kid. It's Han."
	"Han?"
	"Yes. Jaina's father."
	"Jaina? Han Solo? Jaina Solo."
	"Yeah.  Luke, he doesn't look good."
	"He's bleeding. Inside." Anakin said.
	"It's not going to be easy getting him back to the Academy." 
Luke saidlooking at the path though the woods they took. "We better 
get going."
	"Jaina. Jaina"
	"Yes, Yes. We hear you."
