Onion Pancake



This is a chinese appetizer with an exotic flavour of spring onions

Ingredients :


1/2 cup white flour
1 strip puff pastry dough
1 tsp sesame oil
lots of spring onions- chopped finely
salt to taste
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
a pinch of aji-no-moto

Method :


1. Knead all the above ingredients to a dough.

2. The dough should be niether too hard, nor too soft. If it is too hard, add some water & if it is too soft, add in some more white flour.

3. Set aside for 1/2 an hour.

4. Then roll like a chapati & cook on tawa on both sides till crisp. Dot with butter or oil on both sides. Cut into 4 halves & serve hot with sweet & sour sauce & soya sauce.
