All right my story is set back in the good old days when Ivy and Sam were teens and Julian Crane was nothing but a young attractive man Ivy knew from Family funcitions!! Okay here I go!!!
Age 13
IVY
Ivy Winthrop took her long blonde hair out of the pony tail she had it in and shook her hair. She knew she was pretty but for some reason none of the boys in her 8th grade class amused her. She all thought they were childish and stupid. Ivy went down into the living room in her sprawling manision and saw 16 year old Pilar Lopez dusting the tables. Pilar had been hired to be a maid part time for her family. Ivy liked Pilar. Pilar was older and she knew more about men. "Pilar take a break and talk to me" shouted Ivy. "No Miss Winthrop I must get back to my work" replied Pilar in her Spanish accent. Ivy instead sat down at the table and began her Algebra homework. She was so glad her parents sent her to public school intstead of some stuffy boarding school. Ivy worked on her work and thought of the boys in her class.

SAM
Sam Bennet got out his baseball bat and ran down to Harmony's baseball field to play ball with his best friend TC Russel. As he was walking he passed the Winthrop manision. Sam sighed he thought of her long blonde hair and that smile that melted his heart. Ivy was the only girl Sam Bennet thought of in his whole 8th grade class. She was smart,witty, and talented in just about everything. She was also rich and Sam was nothing but a middle class hometown boy. Sam often asked her for money and she always gave him a couple dollars and she smiled at him. Ivy would then walk away with her friends and giggle. That smile made Sam go weak at the knees. Sam arrived at the ball field and saw TC flirting with Maggie Jones. Sam never told TC about his crush on Ivy and he probalby never would.

JULIAN
Julian Crane gave his parents a mean look and they sat him down to have the talk about finding a respectable wife and not some floozy that he met while on business or something. Julian couldn't help it he loved Women. He often made love to them and then left them. Julian was very handsome too. He could get any woman to go weak at the knees. Julian knew though he had to find a wife so she could produce children to carry on the Crane legacy. Julian thought about all the families that were respectable in Harmony and could only come up wiht his family and the mayor's family called the Winthrops and they had a girl that was at least a teen and a boy that was in the elementary school. Julian had never seen the children in the family but had met the parents and they were nice enough but too flexilbe. Julian was told that the daughter was sent to public school instead of boarding school and that to Julian was a disgrace to the rich.
Ivy
Ivy got done with her homework and decided to go and visit her best friend Shara. Ivy told Pilar to tell her mom she was leaving. Ivy put on her coat and her beret she got from France when she visited there. She got to Shara's house and they both decided to walk to the Harmony Ball Field cause Shara had a huge crush on Michael Durkee. Ivy really didnt' care what boy was going to be there. They arrived at the field and Ivy saw two of the most annoyingest boys in her class....TC RUSSELL AND SAM BENNET. Ivy groaned TC was so cocky and Sam always asked her for money. Ivy sat down on the bleachers and was prepared to be bored.
Sam
Sam Bennet was warming up with TC playing a quick game of catch before they started the game with the other boys. Sam looked up and saw Shara Mager and her brown hair and her snobby look and then saw the long blonde hair and sulking expression of Ivy Winthrop. Sam felt nervous and excited at the same time. "IVY WAS HERE" he said in his mind. Sam decided to show his charm to Ivy and ask her for a couple of bucks. Sam pranced over to the bleachers and saw Ivy sitting there in her black coat and her beret he knew she got on one of her exotic trips to France and immeadilately his heart stopped.
Ivy
Ivy was sitting there pouting that she had to sit in the cold and watch dumb little boys play catch and fight with each other. She wished she was at home talking with Pilar over adult things. Ivy put her headdown and looked down at the ground. She brought her head up for a secondand saw Sam Bennet standing right in front of her. Ivy always thought Sam was good looking and half the girls in her class had crushes on him. Sam had always teased Ivy and was constantly bugging her for money. Ivy wondered if thats what he wanted now.
Sam
Sam saw Ivy look him straight in the eye and he knew he should tell her what he wanted. Sam told her that he wanted a couple dollars so he could get a soda after the game at Harmony Drug Store. Ivy looked at him and gave him a blank look. Sam saw her reach in her purse and pull out a five dollar bill. Ivy Ivy knew that all Sam wanted was money so she got her purse out and pulled out the money she had brought. Then Ivy realized that she was sick of giving Sam money and not getting anything back so she decidedto show up all the girls in her class and ask for something non of themhad ever dared to do. Sam Sam saw Ivy put her money back in her purse and look kinda thoughtful. He wondered what she was thinking about. Ivy then told him very calmly that he would have to do something in return to get his money. Sam asked what he had to do and Ivy told him that she wanted a hug fromhim. Sam was nervous. He had always wanted to hug Ivy. He wanted to runhis fingers through her long hair and have his hands around her tiny frame but his buddies would kill him and Ivy was probably only doing it to show other girls that she had the attention of every boy in school. Sam didn't know what to do.
Julian
Julian Crane was reading a magazine when his mother Lorranie Crane entered the living room. She informed Julian that they were to go to a social party on the outskirts of Maine this weekend. Julian was mad he knew his mother was trying to find him a wife. Julian was in no mood to find a wife because he had fun with all the prostitues he picked up at parties and just on the streets of Harmony. Julian was so worried that being tied down would ruin his wild life.
Ivy
Ivy waited for Sam to give her a hug. She held her breath as he came closer to her. Shara and half the boys were watching intently to see if Ivy would accept the hug. As Sam put his arm around her Ivy felt her heart stop. She had never felt this way before. She had never thought that she would fall for Mr.Bigshot. He finally took her completly in his arms.
Sam
Sam put out his arm and put in on Ivy's tiny frame. He pulled her gently into his arms and gave her a soft hug taking in her smell of roses and how her long blonde hair cascaded down her shoulders. She was so beautiful. Sam knew he was in love with an angel. Sam and Ivy both broke apart. Ivy looked flustered and Sam looked dreamy but went back to his normal cocky self. Ivy ran over to Shara grabbed her arm and they left. All the boys were interested if Sam was in love with the most popular girl in school. Sam told them that he was leading her on and all the boys knew he wanted her bad.
Ivy
Ivy ran into the house. She took off her coat and ran upstairs to her room and looked in the mirror. She wondered if Sam would ever consider going out with the ice queen of the school. Ivy knew there was a Christmas Dance next weekend and Ivy wondered if maybe Sam would consider her as a date. Ivy ran back downstairs into the huge living room where her little brother Cameron was with Ivy's mother Magda. Magda was a beautful young woman who loved her children to bits and made sure they had a normal life. Ivy's parents were very happy together and Ivy loved her family but hated the fact that her father was mayor of Harmony and that she was the richest girl in school.
Sam
Sam told all his friends he had absolutely no feelings for Ivy but they all knew better. TC knew right away that Sam liked Ivy. Sam knew Ivy was rich but her family was kind and not snobby about it. Sam knew a family that were snobby about it. It was the Cranes. They had only one son and it was some idiot that acted like he knew it all. Sam's dad had a lot of problems with the Cranes and he never really knew why.
