El Chupacabra.
The creature known as el chupacabra, or the goatsucker, has been around for over thirty years or more without causing much fanfare. It wasn't until a brief period in the late 1970's, after a rash of UFO sightings in Puerto Rico, that he became known to more than a few unlucky Latin American farmers. Then, however, he was called the Moca Vampire. He still performed the task that he is widely known for today: killing farm animals and draining them completely of all blood. Although reports of animal attacks happen several times a year, a human attack has not happened yet.
El chupacabra is described as a five or six foot kangaroo-legged alien who is sometimes said to have either wings or spines upon his back. Claws and bulging eyes add to his lovable features. Modern goatsucker stories have risen up from around 1995, and have continued ever since. Some claim they are aliens, or an unknown animal, or even beings from another dimension. They are often said to be shy and non-threatening to humans, and we hope they stick to tradition.
