Please make sure you are checking your child's homework everynight. Please sign the calendar and his/her assignment book. This lets me know you and I are working together to insure your child is getting the best education.
The first Day of School is Wednesday, September 4, 2002. Yippee!!
****Gym day is every Tuesday, please make a note. Each child needs to wear the proper gym uniform on this day. Please make sure your child has all of his/her supplies for school. Student's copybooks must be bought here at school. TISSUES ARE ALWAYS NEEDED!! Thanks for all of your cooperation!****

Please have children read and study their science and social studies notes frequently. Reinforcement is the best advice I can offer for great grades. Thank you for all your help and cooperation, to make third grade a great experience for your children.

BACK-TO-SCHOOL SAFETY TIPS
Be sure your child knows his/her phone number,including area code.
Plan a walk route to school or the bus stop.
Teach children whether walking, or riding a school bus to obey traffic signals and crossing guard's directions.
Make sure they use the buddy system to and from school.
Teach children never to talk to strangers or accept rides or gifts from anyone!
If your child must be home alone after school, go over guidelines. Children need direction and guidelines. Always have the number of a close neighbor in case of an emergency by your phone.
BE PREPARED, STAY SAFE!!!
