Connellsville, PA, USA

The town of Connellsville is located approximately 35 miles southeast of Pittsburgh in the state of Pennsylvania, USA. The population is about twelve thousand. Around the beginning of the twentieth century, Connellsville was known as the coke capital of the world. The people here produced the coke to be used in the steel furnaces of Pittsburgh.
