“That’s her.” A figure said, pointing to a girl sleeping alone in a queen sized bed in the building across from them.

“Positive?” Another asked looking over at the figure in a white cloak.

“She looks just like the pictures, if you put her hair up… Same color, but that’s all I can see.” The figure in a brown cloak said facing the one in the orange cloak.

“What do we go from here?” the last one asked as a large eagle like bird flew over to them. It was almost identical to an eagle except for the fact that it was on fire.

“We wait, watch and see if see can help us,” the orange cloaked figure said to the blue one, “She’s our only hope.” She said holding out her arm as the firebird perched on it, showing the figures white elbow gloves with a red puff like things at the end.

“Let’s go. It’ll be dawn soon.” The one with the white cloak said as she disappeared leaving a gem in the shape of a cloud in the same place where she was a few seconds ago. The others followed in the same suite. Where the orange cloak figure was, a gem in the shape of a fireball with a phoenix inside of it. The blue cloaked one had a gem in the shape of a drop of water. The brown one had a gem in the shape of a leaf.

A few seconds after they had all left the gems disappeared leaving no evidence that they were ever there except for the weird feeling that you could feel when standing where they were.

Usagi woke up feeling as if she was being watched. “I was having a good dream.” she muttered pulling the covers over her head causing her cat, Luna, to fall off the end of the bed.

“Well, good morning to you to!” she said jumping back onto the bed and stretched out.

“Sorry, Luna.” Usagi muttered as she reached out from under the sheets onto her nightstand and reached for her alarm clock. She missed it but pulled whatever she had grabbed under the sheets with her hand. It was a picture of her and Mamoru from the day before he left to go back to America. That was four, three and a half years ago. He kept saying he’d be back soon. But what was soon? One year, month, week, days?

“Mamo-chan…” she sighed reaching out and grabbing her alarm clock, one hand tracing his face. “Four, thirty!” she almost yelled. She sighed knowing that she wouldn’t be getting anymore sleep, “Perfect.” She said turning her alarm clock off so it wouldn’t ring. She looked over at her cat, “How can you sleep like that?” she asked sitting up in bed.

“Why don’t you surprise, Minako-chan?” Luna asked opening one eye. Two hours later a very tired Minako Aino walked into the small kitchen to see Usagi reading the newspaper and a beautiful breakfast across from her.

“Morning, Minako-chan.” Usagi said smiling at her half asleep roommate, “I was up early so I made breakfast. Eat.” She said as Minako sat down and started to eat. Good thing Usagi’s cooking had improved, a lot.

“So why were you up so early?” Minako asked putting her dishes in the dishwasher.

“I felt like someone was watching me.” She said pushing a strand of hair out of her face. “It was weird. I don’t know. I’m gonna talk to Rei-chan about it later.” She said shaking of the weird vibes.

“Alright… Anything from Mamoru-chan?” she asked fixing her uniform watching Usagi closely.

“I haven’t checked.” She said as Minako dragged her into her room.

“Let’s see!” Minako cried as she shoved Usagi in front of her computer. She quickly logged on and open her e-mail program.

“You have, 2, new messages.” The computer chimed as Usagi opened the inbox. One e-mail from Naru, another from Rei.

“Nope.” Usagi said sadly as she logged off.

“Don’t sweat it, Usagi-chan,” Minako said as the two started to leave the small dorm, “he’s probably still writing it. Come on.” She said dragging her friend into the elevator before it left. When they reached the lobby, Minako ran over to their mailbox and opened it. “Mail’s here!” she cried as she grabbed the letters and ran after her friend. “Junk, junk, bills…Ohhh.” She said as she waved a letter in front of Usagi’s nose. “Something, for she with no faith in Mamoru-chan.” she said as Usagi snatched the letter from Minako’s grasp.

“Give me that!” she cried holding the letter. “I’ll open it at lunch. Come on.” She said putting the letter in her bag and running to her first class.
