"What the? I'm scared. If A.J. is acting that weird, how will the others be?" Brian asked. He was nervous about the abnormal behavior.
"It's okay. He'll snap out of it. It's okay," Angel comforted him and hugged him. "We won't know how the others are until we find them."
"Okay. You're right."
"Do you know where they are?"
"No, but, girl, I have a pretty good idea."
He led her down to their heated basement. It was a fantastic place. It had a computer in a tiny room on the side. Then they had a small pool and jacuzzi, but they were both tiny and crowded in a room. The immense space left over was finished with polished hard wood floors, full wall mirrors, and a music playing center that had speakers surrounding the room. Off to the side there was a small recording studio that could barely fit five people at the same time.
And sure enough, the others were gathered down there. Kevin was bench pressing Aaron, and Howie was eagerly watching. Angel ran over to join them and soon was in the same position as her twin, but was being lifted by Howie.
Brian peaked into the room that housed the computer and found Chris and Joey. Chris was working on lyrics for the many songs that he writes, and Joey was helping him and making sure they made some sense.
He walked on to find J.C. working on some new dance routines for "Here We Go" and some other songs. Nick was controlling the music for him.
Then he walked back into the main area of the basement, and he found Lance sitting by the pool side on his cell phone. Justin was getting ready to get in the pool. Within the short time that Brian was standing there, Lance finished his phone call, took off his shirt, and then jumped into the pool with Justin.
Brian walked back to where he started his exploration. He joined Aaron, Angel, Howie, and Kevin. As he approached them, they switched "weights", so that Angel and Kevin were together, and Howie was paired with Aaron.
"Havin' fun?" Brian asked.
"Oh, yeah!" Angel said.
"Tons of fun," Howie commented.
"Yo, Kev! Have you noticed anything different or strange about A.J.?" Brian asked.
"Yeah."
"What?"
"He kept his hair color the same for a week and counting!"
"Anything else?"
"He hardly wears sunglasses."
"Other things?"
"Nothing else."
"Oh. How about his speech? His vocabulary?"
"No, but maybe he has used more slang."
"Oh."
