.:Back To Your Heart-Chapter 13:.
Chapter Thirteen

After the tour was over, Brian and Leighanne slowly began to resettle into the life they had before the tour and their separation. The part that changed between them was not because of the time spent apart, but because of the reason it happened. Brian felt bad that it had to happen, and Leighanne was questioning how much time they would actually be spending together. For most of the summer, the two had been inseparable, but not for all of the summer because they were not even on the same continent until July.

"What do you want to do today?" Brian asked.

"I dunno, but I wanna go outside," she whined.

He laughed at her and repeated the question.

"Bri, you choose, golf or tennis?"

"Golf! Definately!"

"Alrighty then!"

"Hey, that's my line!"

"Whatever, driving range or course?"

"Leighanne, stop making me choose. I don't care either way. Besides, it's your turn to choose now!"

"Fine, I wanna play putt putt."

"Miniature golf?"

"Exactly!"

Brian laughed at her again as he agreed. He ran up the stairs to get his shoes and grab his wallet. Then they both walked to the nearby miniatre golf course.

"Forget golf! I wanna drive a go-cart!" Brian cried.

"Okay, let's go!"

And they went. They each took a turn at the go-carts, and then went back to their original plan of playing miniature golf. After playing a round, with Leighanne winning, they went to catch a late dinner and rent a movie.

"You know, Leighanne, everything seems so right again. When we're home nobody cares who we are, so no one bothers us."

"You're right, I like it this way."

"Me, too, but it's not like this during the summer."

After dinner, they picked up a movie. They watched it and then went to sleep.
