This Months Interview

Kenny Mac
BECW Website Guy: - Well, firstly I'd like to introduce someone who OBVIOUSLY needs no introduction Kenny Mac... Now Kenny.... you've wrestled in many different federations in the past six or so years one of which was HCW (Maryland) - What was it like working with them?
Kenny Mac: - HCW was amazing, from day one I was amazed at everyones ability inside the ring... although it was intimidating at first, I think we adapted to wrestling in HCW quite well
BECW Website Guy: - Yes I think so.... What was it like to work with Ruckus (Now CZW)?
Kenny Mac: - Well..... Kenny Mac Vs. Ruckus was the singles match every fan wanted to see BUT....unfortunately when we were able to compete 1-on-1 we BOTH dislocated our knees and were unable to continue the match... although we have competed in several 3-way match-ups.... one which was Ruckus vs. me vs. Mat Shalk from GEW.... And also in a match pitting me vs. ruckus vs. hott chocolate

BECW Website Guy: - I noticed you mentioned GEW, now since HCW left the scene GEW seems to have taken over the place of "BEST FED" - what were your reactions/feelings of the GEW guys? and do you still keep in contact with them?
Kenny Mac: - The GEW guys were fuckin' awesome..... These guys traveled 11 hours just to wrestle with us, I think that alone makes them A-OK in my book... Im personally glad they are doing very well for themselves, its nice to see a group with talent out there..... As for keeping in contact - I still talk to Dave Maynard and Firestorm from GEW - they rule! ......Speaking of Firestorm......

Here's a guy who travelled 11 hours just for this to happen.....
BECW Website Guy: - Alot of people talk about injuries sustained in the backyard - how about you? Im sure there is a war story somewhere in those 6 years
Kenny Mac: - Yes quite a few actually - And yes I will admit freely that I've been injured in the backyard - I am a firm believer that even the most skilled athlete can get injured in wrestling (ALA - Triple H) - It unfortunately is a risk everyone who wrestles must take.... Backyard or Pro
BECW Website Guy: - What would you say was your worst injury?
Kenny Mac: - hmmmm.... I think it was at the World's Collide invitation interfederation Card (AKA Filth Event)- I was working a Survivor Series type match with several different Feds. and it came down to 3 final people in the ring.... Myself, Ryker (Now MEWF Indy), and a peice of crap named Tyger..... I was booked to win this match, as was pre-determined before the match even started.... Well Tyger got jealous and didn't like this decision so he "shoot" threw a move on me and dumped me directly on my head - I got temporary amnesia for an hour and got knocked out - I had to get an MRI done on me and everything - pretty scary shit! Also..... Here are some other times which I should have died but didn't.....
The first picture is of from me Vs. Wetzel Drake (HCW) - (One of our many Hardcore Matches) - he is delivering a baltimore city buster (Cryptonite Crunch) off the apron threw a table...... The Second is me getting powerbombed by XXX - which I didn't get up from for quite some time...... The 3rd is Debaser giving me a Debaser-Bomb right onto my upper back/neck - folding me in two (Notice over Debaser's right shoulder lies THE BIGGEST ASSHOLE EVER- TYGER)
BECW Website Guy: - Well.... lets talk about BECW and its return, what did you think of restarting BECW, and what did you think of the MANY new faces in BECW?
Kenny Mac - BECW is something I will always be proud of (Whatever any Indy or "Pro" feds. may think of it) I wouldn't trade my BECW experience for the world.... I personally thought it was a good idea to restart BECW... even-though I was uncertain at first considering that there was ALOT of new faces I wasn't too sure of..... including these guys right here.....

Kenny Mac: - Devestator, E-Van, Casino J, and Techno.... these guys were characters from the get-go - I didn't know what to expect at first, and I must admit I was a little bit afraid that BECW might go to hell..... BUT at their 2nd show all my fears and doubts went out the window when I wrestled Techno - We put on one HELL of a performance and I found out first hand that for an older gentleman (haha)Techno could REALLY work a match.... I later developed a friendship with ALL the new BECW guys and watched each of them improve themselves 100 times better..... and really come into their own! I consider some of my best matches are against these four individuals..... Also I've gotta give mad props to XXX, Tango, and especially Caster Pheonix (even more so after our match a RRR2) - Also guys who paved the way for BECW - guys like Graduate, Hott Chocolate, Huffnagle, and of course Fish..... (whom I had an awesome match against at the RRR2 finals - and if anyone deserved the BECW World Title it would be that guy) - As for the demise of BECW - YES it could've ended in a better way - BUT all good things must come to an end sometime - and I guess in this case it is no different..... Even though BECW had its flaws I think that we will always be without a doubt the greatest ground bump fed. ever!
BECW Website Guy: - Which matches do you consider to be your "BEST" in your BECW/HCW BYW career
Kenny Mac: - Hmmmm.... well.... in HCW my favorite matches were...... Kenny Mac Vs. Derick Brown (Mind-eraser match), Kenny Mac Vs. Hott Chocolate, Kenny Mac Vs. Graduate (Baltimore City tournament match), Kenny Mac Vs. Claude Marrow Vs. Matt Shalk (GEW invitational), and Hott Chocolate Vs. Kenny Mac Vs. Claude Marrow (EWW invitational @ the EWW arena)...... In BECW I would say.... Kenny Mac Vs. Hott Chocolate (Backyard Mania), Kenny Mac Vs. Graduate (Backyard Mania2), Kenny Mac Vs. Caster Pheonix (RRR2), Kenny Mac Vs. Fish (RRR2), Kenny Mac Vs. Techno (RRR2), and of course Devestator Vs. Kenny Mac (Mud Sweat and Tears)
BECW Website Guy: - You mention Round Robin Rampage 2 alot - care to comment on that event?
Kenny Mac: - I thought RRR2 should have been our final event... It was (aside from BYmania2) one of the greatest BYW events (if not the greatest BYW event) Ive ever taken part of.... everyone wrestlled their hearts out that day - and I was really impressed with everyones performances.... In fact I was unsure that day whether I would be able to work a good main event match-up with Fish - since our track record speaks for itself (ALA - me stomping Fish's head into the ground by accident in our old school days) - and since I knew I would have a GRUELING match-up with Caster Pheonix just moments before - however.... both Fish and I went out there and put on one HELL of a performance.... One thing about Fish is that he can take a TREMENDOUS beating for a little guy... his heart alone carries him through most of his matches....
BECW Website Guy: - I think that is all the time we have - but I'd like to ask one more question..... What does the future of wrestling hold for Kenny Mac and BECW
Kenny Mac: - Who knows.... right now I don't think any of us would want to wrestle "Backyard" - we have all come too far to be considered BY Wrestlers.... Also - the days of ground wrestling are done... I think if anything people would not consider reviving BECW unless we had a pro ring and elevated our status to either "Semi Pro" or "Indy" - Although Indy wrestling is intriguing for some - i don't think it is for me - I wrestle for FUN with my FRIENDS - their is too much politicking... and SHIT involved in INDY wrestling - I would rather enjoy myself with something that I love rather then wasting several precious years in a crappy indy fed. jobbing to the owner.... If we had a ring I would gladly wrestle "Semi Pro" - (Which is a step above BY and a step below Indy - Semi Pro is not an INDY fed. in the aspect that it does not host sanctioned wrestling events and does not chrage for admission/tape sales..... simply what it is, is workers who moved out of the BY and are usually trained but do not compete for exposure but instead simply for the fun/sport of it) ........BECW had a good BY run....... But now it is over for us and the Backyard..... To all our fans I'd like to thank all two of you for supporting us all those years --- Now I realize this interview is rambling on like an Easy-E/Graduate interview so I'd like to end with some memorable Kenny Mac qoutes "FUCK YOU" ----------> "Hit Him E-Van!" ----------> "I Kill People" ------> "You peice of Nothing" -----> "I'M GONNA MAME YA'" --------->and...... "I'm the best Hhhou-houuu-hoii-hardcore-highflyer!"
------------> OK
OK OK - I admit now that my Alter Egos were none other then....
