In Dragonball Z, we find Goku has grown into a man. He has married Chichi (whom he met early in Dragonball). He now has a son of his own, Gohan, who is younger than Goku was in the original Dragonball series. We also re-meet Piccolo, Goku's nemesis. In the beginning of Z, Raditz, who is muh stronger than either Piccolo or Goku forces them to cooperate. From that point on, they are no longer enemies. After they defeat Raditz, Goku, who sacrificed himself in the battle, travels to King Kai's planet to train for the evil Saiyans' arrival. Piccolo takes Gohan to a deserted area to train him for the upcomming epic. Then the Saiyans arive. Nappa and Vegeta come to earth, wiping out much of the Z team. Piccolo saccrifices himself to save Gohan. Finally, Goku returns from training, and defeats the Saiyans, make the Earth once again safe. After this, there are many sagas where the Z team has to fight many different enemies. I will write summaries of all these sagas soon. That's all for now.
