Lana's Animals
I have 30 pets at home, along with the 40 horses i care for. I have 3 dogs (terrier mix, lab border collie mix, and a cockapoo), 4 rabbits (2 mini lops, holland lop, and californian albino), 2 rats (albino and black hooded), 2 parakeets (sky blue and neon green), 9 snails, and 10 fish. The horses I work with are a mixture of all breeds. We mostly have thorobreds and quarterhorses. On Christmas eve this year, the arena roof collapsed under a foot of ice, killing our black morgan, Hawk, and saddlebred, Dobbins. On new years eve, one of the quarterhorse/thorobred horses, Zambia, died from colic. In 1997, my pinto, Cisco, also died from colic. I currently cling to Toady, a bay quarter horse just retired.
