~My First Date~
The first time I met you
I wasn't sure what to say or do
So I decided to be a quiet lil mouse
In a car instead of a house
For that is where we were
(In a car) you didn't need a cure
To get me to talk
But just needed to take a walk
And that is what we did
I looked around for some odd reason, but didn't see a kid
So I wanted to sit in a corner on the floor
But I couldn't cuz you mighta thought I was a bore
So after awhile I decided to talk
I would've wrote, but there wasn't a chalkboard or chalk
And besides we were walking thru Shenango Valley Mall
Plus I was thinking and hoping that I wouldn't fall
Then we rode them awesome escalators
And I was in the mood to eat some deep-fried taters
Then we left the mall and went riding around
We never got lost so we didnt need to be found
Then to Phar-mor to waste our time
I saw some lemons and a lime
We walked by the popsicles and I smiled
That smile wasn't actually filed
Then we left and went to Wal-Mart
You didn't get a cart
For we was only there for some Swedish Fish
Then we went to Cinema 8
We got there early so we wasn't late
We saw the movie 'Never Been Kissed
I'm glad that movie wasn't missed
Cuz it was very funny
And better than staring at a fluffy bunny
Then we went to Denny's to eat
It was a place that couldn't be beat
We sat there at the back of the booth cuddling together
When the waitress came; we just sat cuddling there
The waitress asked what we wanted; we told her
She left, and we cuddled a lil closer
The waitress brought our food and we thanked her
Not a word was spoken as we sat there
We left when we were done
So far I was having a ton of fun
Then we went riding around again
That was a lot more fun than watching a silly hen
You pointed out a lot of places to me
Then I realized that I had forgotten my house key
But I didn't care cuz I was having fun
I smelled the air and it smelled like a fresh baked bun
Then we went to your parents house
And I again became that quiet lil mouse
From there we went to The Loft
And your shoulder was nice and comfortable and soft
Then we drove around Stoneboro and Sandy Lake
And then by the summer houses by Stoneboro Lake
As we continued to listen to the radio; you drove to my house
And I was glad that I was no longer being that quiet lil mouse
You changed the station one last time
And that didn't cost you a single dime
The song that came on was 'Angel of Mine'
And I hope that you will always be mine
Cuz I love you with all my heart
And don't like it much when we're apart
Cuz it feels like I have a broken heart
