updated june 24th: well, last night, george and anthony came to play my graduation/going away party for me. man, what do i say? they played some covers for us ("creep", "clumsy", "hey joe", "blue monday", "just like heaven", etc..) and did what i really wanted to hear most of all, the splinter tunes: "a better place", "#1 illness", "love like suicide", "hell in her handbag"... the list goes on and on. they didn't have to do that for me, but they did as a gift, and i appreciate it so much. i'll miss them so much, but will always keep the sites up and running, and spread the word out to colorado. you guys have been so great to me, and i appreciate everything, i really do. i don't know what else to say.. thanx for putting up with me... =') love ya's, you guys fuckin rock.
june 6th: check out phillymusic.com for some exciting news n plinter. it appeares that the band is a featured gothic/dark band of the month! congrats guys.

Our next gig is in Philadelphia at Doc Watsons. The show is on may 27th, it's a 21+ and $5 cover. So come check us out live. We're also still waiting to here back about any tour dates we're getting with this years Warped Tour with Green Day. We're all really psyched for this and hope it all works out.

splinter will be playing at doc watsons in philadelphia, PA this month. there, they will premier their newest addition, a second guitarist named clint. it is unsure if he will be taking over all guitar duties so george can focus on singing, but good ol george offered this to me: "he's got dreadlocks".

Hey everyone
We just got back from Panama City,
Florida where we spent 3 days playing at Club
LaVela for MTV's Spring Break 2,000. We want
to thank all of our splinter fans who came,
including those from last years spring break
who showed up again for this years, and of
course all of you new splinter fans as well.
We have plenty of pics from the trip and you
can see them here. We'll have more comming as
soon as we get them all back. There's also a
few more pics from George's surprise birthday
party. You can see them all at the web site.
You all know how to get there right??? =)
We also had a radio interview in
Atlanta and recorded an acoustic version of
Tripping Fuzzy Ducks. This new version and
the interview will all be available for you
to hear as well as pics takin from the studio
there on the internet. We will find out the
web site and let you all know.
Also, our next Splinter gig is on
Saturday, April 15th in Philthadelphia at Doc
Watsons. We go on early...about 9Pm I think
and the cover there is just $5. It's also a
21+ show (sorry kids) But we are still
working on our all-age show at Club Evolution
for easter break. SO keep your gothic little
black fingernails crossed... We sure are.
Lastly... Our Mp3 Cd is almost ready for
sale. It will include one bonus track that
you are all sure to love, and we promise
we'll keep the price low...hopefully
somewhere around $5 or $6.
One more thing...It's come to our attention
that no-one ever goes to the splinter yahoo
site.....well, no-one but Gina (thats me!)

Hey everyone...
Yeah, it's been ages since we sent
ya'all something. Well here goes. We got alot
comming up in the next few months.
First off... Florida.
We're heading for Panama City once
again to do 2 live shows. March 15th and
16th. Both at Club LaVela, which I think is
MTV's spring break headquarters again this
year. If you're going to be in Florida that
week, come check us out. Ticket prices to get
in are roughly $40, or at least that was last
years price. We're hoping for 2 really
awesome shows to plenty of spring breakers.
Last year was somewhere around 6,000
people!!! I think we're also doing a radio
interview in Atlanta March 14th. We'll let ya
all know about that one.
Splinter in the studio...
We just started booking studio time
to record our new and 3rd CD. Hopefully by
summertime you can all look for a brand new
Splinter release.
Upcomming local gigs...
We have a date booked in April back
at Doc Watsons. its a 21+ night, but we are
working to get easter sunday back at
Evoluition for another all age goth show. If
that night goes thru. then be prepared for a
HUGE Splinter show. We'll let you all know as
soon as we confirm the date there.

februrary 27, 2000: currently, splinter are recording their third album. word has it that its already near halfway done and that we can expect to hear it in a few months time, so keep it here and the official site to stay updated.

updated december 30th, 1999: george handed me a demo of three new songs on the forth coming splinter cd. three songs, "hell in a handbag", "michigan lake" and "she looks beautiful turning blue" are almost done. the new songs are very very good, expect great things in 2000. with georges permission, i'll pass along lyrics sometime soon
august 22nd, 1999: the latest news from george is that the band are working on some more dates for their summer tour. they unfortunately lost their august evolution dates, but will be trying again for october or november. also, vote for splinter at the ubl for born on the www. times running out! you can vote for them on a number of other things, check out official site for all the options. the next issue of dissilusion, the snail mail splinter newsletter, will be hitting mailboxes across the nation very soon. also, want to show your splinter pride? buy a t-shirt! splinter t-shirts are now available for $10. email george if you want one.
