MALE BREAST CANCER
When we hear the phrase breast cancer, we automatically tend to think of women, right? Well, according the The American Cancer Society, it is estimated that 1400 men developed breast cancer in 1995. One percent of breast cancers are in male. Breast cancer in males are just as treatable as those in females when the disease is caught at a comparable stage. Unfortunately, male breast cancers are often caught later since they do not screen for breast in males like they do females. Lumps in males are often found by accident in the shower.
