PACHINKO PAGE.

Pachinko has been around since the turn of the century. The Japanese have taken this game to an all time techno high, like what america did with pinball machines in the states. Most people remember the flip type pachinko machines of the 60s and 70s that were sold in large quantities by sears robuck and many games were brought into the country by military personel. These games are simple yet, lots of fun, because they work on gravity and do not need power. Just walk by and flip the handle its allways ready for you.

This is a machine from the 1940s, you had to load each ball into the shooter thru a hole. These are the most collectable and very hard to find be ready to pay a grand for a nice one.

This is a 1960s style machine, the way you can tell a 60s machine from a 70s machine is the cream colored wood trim. This is a common type, worth about a hundred bucks restored. But a nishigin with the visible ball lift jackpot tray are the best. They can be made to play on 100 balls and reload themself ,if you know how to adjust it. I have several of these and are my favorite type of pachinko.

This is a typical 70s type machine, well not the gog one its a star warsawsome video screen, there are many different faces of flip type and manufactures, and these are the most common types you will find, they will take about 300 to 400, clean balls to operate and some are worth hooking up the lights, but most are not worth it ,for 2 bulbs. I have seen some pretty nice ones like bowling pins, airplane, golf and flowers. some Sanyo machines will have 5 or 6 butterflys that open on the playfield real nice.

These are some examples of the new modern pachinkos from the 80s and 90s these machines are very neat sporting great sounds, touch sensitive ball shooters digital sounds. 80s games had skill catching devices in the middle sometimes called mechanical type or catchers, these have the most skill ,because you have to open the flippers in the center to get at the jackpot. These machines are no longer produced and are very cool..
