18th of June 2002 Australian photographs have now been removed and this site is now officially a Chinese railways website. I appologize to the many loyal fans who visited this site because of the Australian photos. I can still email any requests people have for personal use.

1st of May 2002 It seems that Angelfire has not cut the space of this site yet, however I will be cutting off the Australian pictures from next week. I can still email them to people by request. I have thousands more including loads of detail shots for modellers. The site's name will remain the same, save the 'Australasian' being replaced with 'Chinese'. I have decided to make this change as my interest has significantly been shifted to the Chinese scene.

7th of April 2002, I have just received an email from Angelfire telling me they will start charging me for this service from April 30. When this site opened in 1999 at Geocities, I have experienced problems ever since Yahoo took over. I subsequently changed service to Angelfire in about October 2001, which was at the time a good move as it offered plenty of space and no adverts. Angelfire has now placed not one, but two, pop-up advertisements per page, and on top of this will be cutting space by 60% by April 30. I have been trying to email Railpage hosting to keep this site open, however there appears to be an incorrect email address and so I can not get through. Please email me if you know of anybody/company (or if you have Brian Evans' email address!!) who would be willing to host a site approximately 150mbs, otherwise it is curtains for this site from April 30.

I would like to thank everyone who has helped me keep the site going providing me with invaluable information and corrections, and also for everybody's support.

I have noticed that when loading some of the pages up, particularly the China railway photo pages, some of the thumbnails don’t appear to load. They have loaded however, they are just not appearing on the screen. There are two ways around this if this problem effects you, simply click on each thumbnail that doesn’t load with your right mouse button and select Show Picture from the drop menu, or once the page is fully loaded, press the back button on your browser and then forward and they should appear no problems. I have not tested this website on Netscape so I not sure how things work there.
