I visited Louisville, Kentucky, just for one day - October 25, 2002. I was facilitating a Performance Auditing seminar for the Louisville Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors. I stayed at the Seelbach Hilton Hotel...a hotel with magnificant charm from the Roaring 20's. This hotel was the setting of the movie: The Great Gatsby. Al Capone stayed at this hotel. It is really a happening place during durby week. As we landed, the plane circled over Churchhill Downs...I could just picture all of those Southern Belles of days gone by sipping their mint julips!
