I taught an IIA seminar in Chicago in July 2001. As always, it was a great experience...many excellent participants! The seminar was held at the Swisotel located near the pier at the southern end of Michigan Avenue (just across the Chicago River (which, incidently, flows FROM Lake Michigan!

This is a picture of the Chicago skyline at night. Chicago is a very beautiful city...and quite safe as well. I walked miles and miles (as I usually do when I travel...it's one of the best ways to actually see and experience the charm of many city neighborhoods).

This is Michigan Avenue...also known as "The Magnificant Mile."

A trip to Chicago would not be complete without visiting the Sears Tower. It is just a short walk from Michigan Avenue and the Chicago River.

This beautiful fountain is located along the River Walk near the pier, just at the end of Michigan Avenue.

Lake Shore Drive is one of the most picturesque city street that I have ever seen. It is a beautiful walk on a bright summer day.
