I am a Senior Accountant for Highmark Blue Cross Blue
Shield. I am also a member of the adjunct faculty at Harrisburg
Area Community College where I instruct Accounting, Web Design, and Computer
Information Systems courses. My career goal is to obtain a
management position in the field of accounting or auditing which
requires management expertise in all areas of financial organization
and control as well as allows for challenges for individual growth
and achievement. As an educator, my expertise is the training and
developing staff. I am
also a Certified Instructor and Distinguished Faculty Member for the Institute of Internal Auditors
where I facilitate audit training throughout North America. Locally,
I have been involved with the Central Penn Chapter of the Institute
of Internal Auditors since 1995. I am currently a member of the Board of Governors, Chapter Treasurer, and a past chapter president. I
was instrumental in developing the Central Penn IIA
Chapter's Web Site .
In addition to volunteering for the Central Penn IIA, I am an
active volunteer for the American Institute of Banking - Pennsylvania
chapter where I have developed five training/educational courses
(I also serve as lead instructor for these courses). Visit the
PA-AIB Home Page
for additional AIB information. The Pennsylvania AIB is now known as the Pennsylvania Development Network (PDN). I also volunteer for
United Cerebral Palsy of Central PA where I am the Annual Appeal Co-Chairman and for United Cerebral Palsy of Pennsylvania
