WAAAAAHHHHH! Another awesome band decides to call it quits this year. After about 15 years of producing their trademark "ultra heavy beats," German group KMFDM has finally decided to call it quits. Next to Marilyn Manson, they are one of my favorite bands, and will continue to be for years to come. I also did manage to see them live. While I was studying abroad in Germany back in the Fall of 1997, I saw KMFDM in a small club in Berlin. I was standing right in the front, looking up Sascha Konietzko's shirt and headbanging with Tim Skold. I was one of the best concerts of my life and I am so grateful that I actually got to see them live. We'll miss you Sascha, Guenter, En, Tim, Wm. Rieflin, Raymond, and everyone else who contributed to the band. I recommend their last release, Adios, because it's dark, awesome, and just right for an ass kickin' exit by a this groundbreaking band.
