My friendship with Krish and Manjula, which dates about a decade and a half, began what was to be the mission I was meant to get on to, at least retrospectively. I had drifted into the portals of the Aurobindo Society and met Dr Agarwal who knew my parents and is an elder and one whom I dearly respect and take solace from. It pleased me no end to know that he was at the helm of affairs and now heads the Pranic Healing Foundation Delhi as its founder chairman. It was in the year 1995 that I did my Basic Pranic Healing course from the Aurobindo Center.

I was no new entrant to the Aurobindo Ashram or the Puducheri center as my father an old theosophist worked with Sri Aurobindo, Dr. Annie Besant and Mother at Puducheri, Chennai. He with Navjataji brought about the Ashram and the Auroville as it stands today. My student days at the Ashram in Delhi were eventful, in that I still have the scar, for which the school playground and the slide played by no means a small part. The fall got me a full reprieve from this frail body for a full 48 hours, which took me into another world. I lived on and have come a full circle. The impact is one, which, as Dr. Chopra rightly suggests, is a synergising of energies, much as in a hologram. The materialization of particulate matter, which goes into the making of all energies, of which all jiva is made, be it the atma in any of three forms as the Mother so rightly pronounced in her writings, or the energies which we as Pranic healers imbibe and transmute, is of the utmost importance. It is this materialization, which is taught, together with all the other skills that we learnt from various courses. We impart this in all good faith to the people whom we heal. This fraternity has given my skills, both acquired, god given and imbibed , a direction, new meaning and a destination which is well meaning and is the sole need of the hour.for this and many more such happenings I am very wholeheartedly and soulfully thankful to Kunhi Sir without whom I would have faltered along the way.

The Chennai Convention gave me a vista of the world as occupied by pranic healers. The aspiring and spiritual seekers were noiselessly and peacefully moving about and getting on with their work or the business agenda they had to get done. It was a like a bolt from the blue, nay more like lightening on a cloudless day, that it hit me. The divide or barriers were not just language but a host of issues which were neither spelt out or dealt with in the manner it is done for most international conventions. This is not a slight or neglect by the host state. These issues which were identified by many present seemed to have been more felt, not discussed or perused by the host country or the nation sending in their delegates. It is thus a matter which needs to be underlined that discussions and meetings are to be held at the personal, inter-personal and intra-personal level to effectively efface such issues from surfacing. The countries adopting Pranic healing are increasing in numbers and at the turn of the century and in the next millineum we are going to have an increasing number of young and new inexperienced pranic healers who will be totally isolated in the pantheon , this global fraternity of Pranic healers. The author feels that the two delegates from Argentina particulary the lady delegate was an extremely interested participants and was avid for more information. The science of Pranic Healing brought her to the shores of India but more rightly it was the third world and the relegating of health to the furthest cornerstone in the economic-fiscal calendar, that attracted her and she was visibly pleased at the masses that would benefit from this healing science in Pan American, Asia Pacific and the other half of the world from the G-7.

The team ably led by the duo Sushil and Ramani at the Chennai center have to be congratulated heartily for a splendid job in seeing through this convention. India it was very clearly shown was at center stage for spiritual revival and inclusion of it in the Agenda Health at the World Health Organization. Pranic Healing and the skills as enunciated by Master Choa Kok Sui have withstood testing and can and will be the tool to bring to effect the efficacy of its skills to the doors of all leading health institutions. I can as I write visualize smiles and grimaces on the faces of some of the delegates I had the pleasure of meeting. The turn of the century and the next millennium in Canada may well herald the new advent of Pranic healing as a department in all the nerve-health centers worldwide with the G-7 countries taking the lead.

Master Choa Kok Sui has in his books and teachings very clearly underlined the holistic nature of treatment in all matters health, no matter who the patient is or what he suffers from. The adaptability of techniques and skills both indigenous and exogenous, must be clear, for in their final goal it is not only the patient's recovery but also the part he plays in his recovery and the degree of surrender to the almighty. In doing so he the patient will amply demonstrate that the play on this the amphitheater, the earth is nothing but a leela , a rhapsody sung joyously or piteously as befitting the moods or the fancies of the savior who governs us all. The healer must oversee that every skill and every technique is perfected, proven and tested, before he commences the practice of healing.

The Retreat was heaven. It was more full of surprises though not without its twists. The meetings with estranged past life connections, quick fire healing and perfecting of new healing skills which lent itself to being adopted and adapted with Pranic healing set me on a new high. My meditations were beautiful and I will never forget them. It was a tryst which showed me where my destiny lay but I kept my windows open and my antenna out to allow the fresh balmy heavenly winds sweep through me and all that was in its path so that I would never deviate from being centered and fully rooted to my karma and dharam. The kirlian photograph taken of the aura revealed the nascent beginnings of more glorious things to come and more such happenings. I am waiting.
