Ms Shakun Goyal is a trustee of the Pranic Healing Foundation of Delhi. She speaks of her first encounter with Pranic Healing.

Nothing happens by chance! ..................... Most of us in the Pranic Healing Family firmly believe in this, as at some time or the other we have experienced this co-incidence but is it co-incidence or was it destined ?

In the summer of 1993 I was in Madras and out the blue I had a severe attack of spondolysis. It was the first and last attack I ever had. Prem (my husband) a staunch believer in a physiotherapist in Pondicherry persuaded me to go there for treatment. After my session with the doctor when I came out of his chamber, I met Sushma Saldana (a trustee of the Tamil Nadu Pranic Healing Foundation), for the first time in my life. She had given an orientation earlier in Pondicherry and had come to meet Dr. Radhika (who later did the Pranic Healing Courses). Before meeting him she met me and gave me a fantastic orientation on Pranic Healing then and there. I got convinced and was carried away. I persuaded Prem to drive back to Madras as I wanted to do the courses which were going to be held two days later.

None of us in our family had ever heard of Pranic Healing. So, the next day Prem & my son Vinay went to drop me for the course - most important for them was to see that nothing hanky-panky was going on. It was another turn of fate ! Who did we find there ? Mr. C. Sundaram (President Pranic Healing Foundation of India) a dear friend of ours for the last 25 years ! After having left Salem we had lost touch with him and now we met again in different circumstances. Of course, after talking to him our minds were at rest and my journey into Pranic Healing started. My teacher was Hector Ramos from Pranic Healing Foundation at Manila, Those days the Pranic Healing teachers all over India were from Manila. The end of the first day left me very excited and with determination to do all the courses. This Journey into an unknown world was fantastic.

My fevernt prayer was answered and I stayed in Madras to finish the Advance and Psychotherapy courses. Simultaneously, Hector healed me for spondolysis and till today I am lucky it has never came back. Sometimes when I look back - I may have had spondolysis so that I could go to Pondicherry & meet Sushma - after all nothing happens by chance.

Having found this wonderful path of healing I wanted to take this art to Delhi - Permission was granted to me as Master. In October 1993 I found Hector and Sushma in Delhi. For me to arrange all the courses in Delhi was quite a marathon job. Prem did 70% of the canvassing for me and till today he supports me and helps us to promote Pranic Healing. We had conducted our first course in the Vasant Vihar Temple and after that there was no looking back for Pranic Healing. Hector kept coming back to conduct courses for the next 18 months. Until teachers from the Delhi Pranic Healing Foundation took over the teaching, the teachers use to come from Manila. It was another co-incidence ! when Hector met Laurie in one of the courses and this meeting led them to the altar.

December, 1993, saw a great event Master came to Delhi with Mr. Sundaram, Mr. Gregory and Mr. Hector. A press conference and meeting was organized by the Rajasthan Club. Master was very kind to give his blessings and healing to various people from all walks of life.

This led to the formation of the Pranic Healing Foundation of Delhi We first started having classes at the Ashram & gradually a healing centre was opened. We have come a long way and never looked back. We marched onward to fulfill the Master's dream of having a Pranic Healer in every family.

With Master's belssings this is how Pranic Healing came to Delhi. I take this opportunity to thank Master for showing me a wonderful path in my life. I also thank my husband and all my children for their full support given to me in all the work involved in Pranic Healing. Without Master's blessing and their support I would not be able to stand where I am today.
