Observations at Milton Hershey Middle School with Mr. Sam Lappano – Spring 2001
- observe and help the students with playing piano as well as grading their playing
Lebanon Valley College’s Music Educators National Conference Reading Day – January 26, 2001
- “music helper” during rehearsal and ate meals with the students
Observations at East High Street Elementary in Elizabethtown with Mrs. Lichtenwalner – Fall 2001
- observed students and taught three class lessons
Boulder Woods Campground in Green Lane, PA – Summer 2000
- Lifeguard and store employee (weekdays a Day Care used the pool facilities, I watched between five and thirty children between the ages of 5 and 12, plus campground patrons)
Observations at Annville-Cleona High School with Mr. Dimick – Spring 1999
- observed students, but mostly tutored a Japanese foreign exchange student in English
Observations at Doe Run Elementary School with Mrs. Wanamaker – Fall 1998
- observed students as well as gave several french horn lessons
Private Lessons
- have taught some private lessons in the summer and over break
Community Service Class – Spring 1998
- did more than 90 hours of service working with the band director at Upper Perkiomen Middle School, mostly with seventh and eighth grades (giving lessons and working on the music library)
Stand Tall Big Sister – School year of 1997 - 1998
- spent several outings with fifth grade girl who was having some trouble either in school or at home to help encourage her and to give her more self-esteem
OTHER WORK EXPERIENCE:
Red Hill Band – Summer 1995 to present
- clarinet section, currently am section leader (I am in charge of clarinet seating for each concert) and am part of the rotating principal seating
- a member of set-up crew
Rita’s Italian Ice in Pennsburg, PA – Summer of 1999
- served food, stocked shelves, and part of cleaning crew
