Morgan Calisti was an 18-year-old pop singer and aspiring actress when she ran afoul of a plot by The Brotherhood of Darkness, Inc. It had come to the Brotherhood's notice that this charismatic young woman was also an untrained mage, so one of their officials decided on a convoluted plot to 'recruit' her -- a plot which included an unbalanced psionic "stalker"-type fan, and a loyal bodyguard provided by the Brotherhood to protect her from said stalker. This bodyguard was supposed to persuade her that she'd be safer within the Brotherhood's organization.

After several incidents of escalating violence (including the burning of the young singer's home in California, and a chase half-way across the country) the bodyguard -- whose loyalties don't work quite the way the Brotherhood official believed -- turned against the BoD, Inc. After one last fatal confrontation with the stalker, he delivered Morgan over to Bureau 13 instead.

Now 25, Morgan still records and releases music and does some acting work, but no longer tours -- and her public appearances are kept to a minimum. She has learned control of her magical abilities, and does freqeuent work for the Bureau; her Hollywood training in makeup and acting help convince people that they're not really seeing her while she's on assignment for the Bureau.

Appropriately enough, spells work best for Morgan if she sings its verbal components, set to the "tune" the magic creates in her mind.

IMPRESSIVE ACHIEVEMENT: In six years with the Bureau, the only time Morgan has used her sidearm in the course of duty was on her very first job -- when she used it to prop open a falling door to keep two teammates from being trapped in a gas chamber.
