Evan Connelly

Evan lost his hearing at the age of 5 due to a serious bout of scarlet fever. Growing up, he became fluent in sign language and lip reading. He also has an autistic younger brother who recieves frequent therapy at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh. One day while waiting out his brother's session in the cafeteria, Evan "overheard", via lip-reading, two men planning to detonate a bomb in the hospital -- to kill he brother's therapist, Kirin von Helio. Fearing for his sibling's life, Evan ran to warn Kirin, and the plot was averted.

Kirin's healing abilities have since restored Evan's hearing, and when not on missions for the Bureau Evan works as a sign language interpreter. He's now 19 years old.
