The five girls sat around the table in the office, waiting for their manager, Loretta Kelly, to come in. She had told them the day before that she had news for them. She didn't say whether it was good or not. Finally she walked in holding a clip board and some papers. She sat down across from the patientlly waiting girls. "Okay ladies, let get down to buisness. The video for 'Your Fault' that you just shot will be premiered on TRL on wednesday. They want you to make an apperence. But thats not what I wanted to tell you. Okay, the plains for touring goes as follows. You will be doing a headliners tour. With who you ask? None only as the Backstreet Boys. And 98 degrees will be opening." The girls just sat there not knowing what to say.
Okay, its that time to explain things. The five girls that are sitting around the table are are in a pop group called 'Charmed'. The video that was just talked about is the first video off of their second cd 'Lucky Charm'. There first cd, self titled 'Charmed' was at number 1 for 6 straight weeks. They became a huge success, that what seemed like, over night. Charmed consits of Danielle Plumley, Elena Sicilia, Laura DiMarcantonio, Gina Affatato and Christina Ziccardi.
Danielle is the oldest, 24, and the has the most style. She has long light brown hair and pretty blue eyes. She stands at 5'2" and is very pretty. She is usually the one telling the jokes and funny storys.
Elena is next. She is 23 and the tallest, 5'5". She has sholder length dark brown hair and brown eyes. She can be very serious at times, but when the time is right she will also be the silliest.
Laura is 22 and is 5'3". She also has shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes. She will be the first to tell you the truth, even if she knows you won't like it. But thats cause she loves ya.
Gina is 20 and 5'2". She had brown hair with carmel highlights and brown eyes. She is the craziest. She will do anything and not care what people think as long as she is having fun.
Christina is also 20. She is 5'2" (yes they are all short) She has curly brown hair, which she says she hates but is very cute. She has blue eyes. She is the sweetest and most caring.
Okay, you met the players so now lets learn the facts. Charmed was formed four years ago. The girls knew each other from highschool. About two years after Danielle graduated they decided to form a group. Gina and Christina were juniors and Laura was a senior. Elena had already graduated. Things started off right and they had released their first album two years after they formed. It was a huge success and stayed at number one for 6 straight weeks. Through out the year and a half the won 2 Mtv video music awards and 3 American music Awards. Also 2 Kids Choice awards. If you turn on Total Rquest Live, you will see their video in the top ten along with BSB, N Sync, Britney Spears and many more! At a few award shows Charmed had met BSB and 98 degrees but not enought to call them friends. On the other hand, Christina and Nick liked eachother so much that they exchanged phone numbers and are now dating. As for the other girls, they never really had a full out converstation with the others. They never understood why they never got together to hang out. Okay, back to the story.
The girls sat there speechless. Finally Elena spoke up. "How long wil the tour be?" Loretta sat the papers on the table. "Um...well it is a world tour. You'll be over in Europe from May to July then you'll have a week break and the the US tour starts from August to December so..you will be with these people for a long time so get used to them and become friends." Danielle smiled. "Hmmm...being stuck with 9 very gorgeous guys for 8 months, no problem here!" Christina sat up in her chair. "Hey, 8 guys, 1 is taken."

Elena sat down on her couch. She picked up the phone deciding to call Karen. Karen is a very close friend to all of the girls in Charmed. She is 23. They told her that they wanted her to go on tour with them and be one of the 10 dancers. She agreed to it. "Hello?" "Hey Karen." "Elena! Hey! Whats up?" "Well, we just got word today that we are touring with BSB and 98 degrees." Elena knew Karen would flip. She always says how hot she thinks Jeff is. "Are you serious?" "Yeah and get this, Fatima doesn't want to hire 10 more dancers for Backstreet so you guys are dancing for them too." Karen couldn't contain herself. "Oh Wow! This is way to good to be true." "But you will be working extra hard, learning a whole new set of rotines. Are you still up for it?" Elena knew Karen was smiling on the other end. "I am so up for it!"

The girls sat backstage of the Mtv studio waiting for their cue to go out. Soon a women came back. "Okay girls, 5 minutes." They made their way through the hallways. They entered the room with the flat tvs and live audience. They walked out and everyone started to scream. The girls all waved polietly. Carson stood there and shook their hands. "Hey girls. Well be back from commercial in like 2 minutes so sit tight." Christina and Laura sat down on stools while Gina, Elena and Danielle stood up behind them. Soon they were on the air. "Hey everyone and welcome back to TRL. To my left I have a very special guest. Please welcome the lovely ladies of Charmed." Once again there were screams. The girls smiled and waved and said in unicine "Hello." "So ladies, I hear you have some news for us." "Yes. Well, the Us tour will start in Augast, but in May we will be going over in Europe and tour over there for 3 months." Said Elena. Laura continued the thought. "But thats not all. We will be touring with...ya ready?...The Backstreet Boys." More screams. "And 98 degress will be opening up." Said Gina. Again more screams. Carson smiled. "Thats very cool!" Danielle sighed. "But for the next week and a half we'll be working our butts off." Well thats okay. We like to see your butts working. Am I right fellas?" Carson said in the camara. The girls blushed. "Okay, lets get back to the countdown. Here is Korn with "Falling away from me" at number 2.
"Okay. That was Korn. We must take a break but when we come back we will be premiering Charmed's new video 'Your Fault', and we will be chatting about their new album that comes out tomorrow. Come on back you don't want to miss this." Soon the commercials were over and the cameras were rolling. "So girls, the cd comes out tomorrow? Lets chat about that. How would you compare "Lucky Charm" to "Charmed"? "Well," Danielle started, " 'Lucky Charm' is a bit more meaningful to us because we actually wrote all of the songs on this album. I mean sure we had some people helping us but we had much more control over things." Carson smiled. "Cool. Okay right now we are going to get to the premiere. I actually got to see it before the show. It is a very good song and a girl powerish video." He laughed. "Is that even a word? Anyway, here it is, the first single off of their sophmore album, this is "Your Fault".
The video started. It was bascially about blaming the guy for the break up.

The video showed and people liked it, a lot. When it was over everyone yelled and screamed. "Well there it is. If you want to vote for that video or any video for that matter call 1-800-dialmtv between 3 and 3:30 or log on to mtv.com and cast your vote there. I am pretty sure that video will be on tomorrow. Ladies, thank you so much for coming. Don't forget to check these girls out in tour starting in Augast here in the states. We will take a break. When we come back its your number 1 video. What could it be? Maybe the Backstreet Boys? Stick around and find out." Then they wen to commercial. The girls poilitly said good-bye to Carson and the audience and then went backstage to leave. This next week will be very tiresome.
