~2 WEEKS LATER~
Danielle could hear Gina playing the piano in the opening foyer of the house. She walked through the kitchen and into the foyer and sat down next to her on the piano bench. Gina stopped playing and smiled at her. "You should be resting." Danielle told her. Gina rolled her eyes. "Resting for what? Its not like I'm going anywhere. Besides, I've done nothing but lay around for two weeks. I know I've been alittle weak lately but I'm feeling good today. I got down the steps by myself." Gina said smugly. Danielle sighed. "I just wish you'd ask for help. You don't have to be embarrassed." Gina shook her head. "I'm not. I just feel fine. I was upstairs and wanted to play the piano so I came down here. Nothing wrong with what I did." Danielle smiled slightly.
"I'm sorry that I mother you. I just worry, ya know?" She told her. Gina nodded and became silent for a moment. "You do know I love you, right? I don't know what my life would have been like if I had never met you." She said softly. Danielle layed her head on Gina's shoulder. "I love you too. You will always be my best friend and my sister." They both became silent as they tried to hold back their tears. After a moment Danielle stood up and clapped her hands. "Well, I'm going to make Fettucini. Shall I make enough for you and AJ?" She asked. Gina nodded and smiled widely. "Fettucini yummy yummy." Danielle sang as she went into the kitchen. Gina just giggled and followed her.
AJ's hand slid under Gina's pajama top and ran lightly across her stomach. She moved her body closer to his and reached her hand behind her to run her fingers through his hair. He layed behind her breathing lightly on her neck, leaving a soft kiss there every now and then. After a moment AJ rolled her over to face him. Deep brown eyes staired back at him and suddenly he became lost in them like so many times before. "I'm scared." Gina said hardly above a whisper.
"Don't be. I'm here." He told her. Gina softly ran her thumb over his bottom lip as she spoke. "I know I shouldn't be but I am. I've never been so terrified in my life. I've tryed to be strong but I don't think I can be anymore." AJ pulled her hand from his face and lightly kissed her fingers and then her palm. He then returned his gaze back to her eyes. Losing himself once again as all the memories of the last few months floated through his mind.
Every smile she gave him. Everytime she laughed at one of his stupid jokes. Everytime she touched him. Ran her fingers through his hair...down his neck...over his chest..."AJ?" Her sweet voice brought him back to the present. "Yeah baby?" She smiled at him. He did that a lot when they layed in bed. His mind would drift over to somewhere else, but she didn't mind because most of the time he was thinking of her anyway. "Don't be afraid to move on when I'm gone. I won't mind if you start to date again." She said. AJ sighed. "I don't wanna think about that right now. All I care about is here and now. Screw the rest of the world. Right at the moment it doesn't exsist. It's just you and me, Gina. Forever." He noticed a tear fall from her eye. He quickly kissed it away. "I love you AJ. More then I can even express." Gina said softly.
AJ wrapped her tiny hand in his and pulled it to his chest. "You'll always be right here. A special place in my heart that only you can hold. I love you too baby." He held her tighter and kissed her softly at first but then it grew more deep. It was like neither wanted to let go. They wanted to make it special. Make it last somehow. Eventually, like every good thing, it came to an end. Soon after, they fell asleep thinking only of eachother.
The sun shone through the window hitting AJ in the eyes. Slowly he started to awake. He blinked a few times and then staired at the beauty infront of him. He pulled away a little and as he smiled he ran his fingers through her hair. Slowly, though, his smile faded into a slight panic. Panic then turned into terror. Realization hit him as he continued to look at her. He would never see her smile again. Never hear her voice. Her cute laugh. Never feel her soft skin against his after making love. He hugged her tightly as heart wrenching sobs escaped from his throught. She was gone.

Hours past as the early morning moved slowly close to early afternoon. AJ wanted to wake Danielle but didn't know how to go about doing it. He stood by the sliding glass doors that led to the balcany and watched the sky. He didn't know what to do. He felt lost and confused. Alone. He felt alone. He heard movement from down the hall. She was awake. Her footsteps came closer and closer. He kept his eyes lockd on the outside.
Danielle walked down the hall and came to a stop at their opened bedroom door. She saw AJ stairing outside. She then moved her gaze to the bed. Gina layed there motionless. She quickly moved her eyes over to AJ again. He staired back at her with tearful eyes. Her knees became weak and she feel to the ground sobbing. AJ ran to her and wrapped his arms around her. "NO! God please!" She yelled and AJ held her tighter. "I'm so sorry Danielle. She's gone."
