	Turtles do move slow and are easier to "catch" for a photo, but still, do YOU want to get this close to a turtles mouth? This guy was just outside of Bradford off Seaward Avenue.

I got very close to him. You can almost count his nose hairs! IF he has any!

Here is a little baby turtle we found on a summer Zoar Valley hike. It looks like a baby snapping turtle and it was very aggressive.

First let me tell you, it's HARD to get a bird to pose for a photo! Let alone get close enough to photo them! I was lucky, and it takes a long time to "sneak up slowly" enough not to scare them off. This is where my "Indian Blood" comes in!

Here I was able to get real close to a bunch of deer (look close in the background) while on a cross country ski trip in the Allegany State Park in NY.

There were four or five deer in this area, but you can only see two or three in the photo.

I took this photo on my motorcycle heading out West Corydon Street in Bradford near the Hefner Reservoir. This bear seemed to ignore me completely ... until I honked my horn!

This bear is raiding the garbage can at Rim Rock. Like the Bear above, he could care less if I walked up to him and kicked him in his rear! All he wanted to do was eat!

These tracks in the wet snow really show the claws good. This bear was in the Marilla Springs trail area.

This was taken on our Labor Day Hike 2006. We tracked this bear up the road a ways before finding this track that had no nail marks. It really looks quite human!

I don't know my snakes as good as I should, but I know enough not to mess with them. This guy was quite aggressive! Lucky for me he was small! I took this on a summer Zoar Valley hike.

Who's afraid of spiders? This was taken in the bottom of a cave at Panther Rocks, near President Pa. We named the room at the bottom of the Corkscrew Cave, "the Spider Room".

Although believed to be extinct in the Allegheny National Forest, we found this dinosaur waiting for us on a camping trip in the Thundershower Run area of the ANF. He was dining on hay.

This was a scary encounter indeed! AFTER "skinny-dipping" in the large pool in the "naturist area" at Zoar, this big snapping turtle surfaced! It was over 2 feet end to end. It's mouth, when opened, could fit a softball (no pun intended! !OUCH!)!!

This bunch of fish (suckers) swam around our boat that was floating near the Wolf Run Marina on the Allegheny Reservoir.

This is an expired frog we found in the creek bed on a hike in Zoar Valley. We found "him" between the Confluence and the Forty Road Parking lot. It was a summer hike.
