The small room quickly fills with light and heat. As the fire begins to burn rapidly, another source of light soon also shows itself. It is a torch set into the wall beside the picture that you can now view. It seems as though that by lighting the fire in the fireplace, it inturn, lit the torch on the wall.

You stop wondering why this is as your attention is brought to the painting above the couch. It appears to be of a man in a long black cape, freeing the souls of the dead from their graves.

What to do now?

Attempt to open the door at the corner of the room...
Look to the bookshelf...
Settle on the couch...
Leave back into the hallway...
